Moved to Austin in May, 2014. I work until around midnight most nights and a lot of weekends.
Some days I'm playing drinking games and watching dumb shit on the Internet with my roommates. Other times I'm out exploring, going to Mt. Bonnell, Zilker Park, or some awesome drinking establishment. The outdoors are cool.
I also like going to museums and whatnot. I went and saw some of the David Foster Wallace archives at the Harry Ransom Center recently and it blew me away. All the museums and sight-seeing stuff in this town are cool as hell.
I recently quit smoking and have also been eating healthier. Everyone in Austin is beautiful so I'm trying to get on their level. I like to cook.
Forrest Gump, Magnolia, Apocalypse Now, Field of Dreams, there are so many more but I'm lazy.
Six Feet Under, Dexter, Community, 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation The Wire Deadwood How I Met Your Mother [Homeland]] [Shameless]]. I'm probably forgetting something.
As far as books go, there is The Greatest Game Ever Played and The Last Best League. There are a lot more, but I can't think of them right now. I'm constantly reading something on my Kindle.
UPDATE: Recently been getting into classic literature that I should've read when I was younger. Really enjoyed Dracula and Picture of Dorian Gray. Currently going through all the Sherlock Holmes stories.
Food is very expansive, but I've recently become a really big fan of Mediterranean food and LOVE sushi.
