I am a shy person who's perfectly happy to just hang out with a few friends over going to a crowded bar (quiet dives are alright). I'm originally from Chicago and I'm still steeped in a ton of hometown pride. I am in Houston doing my best to be an architect while not compromising my artistic ambitions, which seems to take a lot of my time.
I try to draw and paint when I can to get any and all ideas on paper. I love just about all music, but will gravitate towards classic rock when I can, and will often play guitar when things are a little stressful. I enjoy reading, but it tends to almost always be architectural theory books.
I'd like to think I have a good sense of humor, but it tends not to be subtle or logical.
I love movies, good and bad. I love to watch and dissect "artsy" films, but also enjoy a good scare from a horror movie or a good laugh from a terrible horror movie. A perfect evening for me would be to watch some horrible schlock of a movie and make fun of it with a group of friends.
I enjoy reading. You'll usually find me buried in some sort of architectural theory book, but I also like to read history books, most non-fiction (Especially things like Catch-22 or anything by Kurt Vonnegut). That's not to say that you won't catch me reading Calvin and Hobbes or Dilbert from time to time.
I tend to like comedies over any other shows, but appreciate well written dramas and cannot stand reality tv or shows like American Idol. I particularly like shows like Arrested Development, Community, Boss, Life's Too Short, Spy, Archer, the list could go on for ages.
I'm open to all foods and will try anything once, but I'm partial to my hometown goodies like deep dish pizza. I'm also a huge fan of anything spicy (Thai, Indian, etc.)
