My self-summary
(Hm. This profile (like me) is an ongoing work in process).

I am your basic, creative-type. My weapons of choice are visual art and martial arts: of which I've taught both. Personality-wise, I'm an extroverted introvert.

I'm poly, and upfront about it. I have a partner and we're comfortable dating/having friends outside (or inside) of our relationship.

INTERESTS: aikido; biking; dancing; bookstores; walks; obscure movies; sci-fi (Esp. Philip K. Dick; cyberpunk); massage-therapy; drawing; certain boardgames; art museums; politics; writing; painting; collaborations; reading aloud; life-drawing; BDSM; chemistry.

So, what's on your mind? Talk to me. I'm a good listener; and I have something in common with you. We're both searching for a connection...that's a start.

Is there chemistry? Only one way to find out.

(Nope. Still not satisfied with this summary yet, either. Sigh.
Edit, edit, edit)
What I’m doing with my life
At this precise moment? Considering listening to every David Bowie album, in reverse order (he made 25. It would take awhile).

I'm a painter/mixed media artist whose work has been in a lotta places.

Last year I got a few chances to take extended train rides (one through the Rockies). I LOVE trains.

Other than that, you can find me mostly at the dojo
I’m really good at
-Engaging people, even tho I'm more of an introvert
-My massages are amazing. No, really...
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile, and how tall I am.

And you know what they say about big hands, right? That's right...we make excellent massage therapists. ;)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: "The Value of Nothing," Raj Patel; Sci-fi (Effinger; John Shirley); "A Field Guide to Getting Lost," Rebecca Solnit; "Aikido and the Dynamic Sphere," Westbrook & Ratti; Ursula le Guin; Neil Gaiman; Stephen King, "Ready Player One"

Movies: Thriller; horror/sci-fi; foreign. I like too many movies to list. But in a word: "Wristcutters" was my idea of a romantic film. Points if you've seen it and fell for Gogol Bordello; "Only Lovers Left Alive"
Six things I could never do without
-the news
-my art studio
-a good book
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why the world is so messed up; and how I can make it just a little better.

Lamenting the sad, declining state of punctuation.
On a typical Friday night I am
There is no such thing as a typical Friday night. That would ruin the point to Friday's.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Online? Nothing.

In person? I'll tell you anything you want to know.
You should message me if
You like what you see.
