My self-summary
I'm currently pretty consumed by outdoor adventures, mostly backpacking and climbing in the Sierras or closer to home. I live a healthy lifestyle, and would like someone to find someone similar. My free time when I'm in the bay is spent going to the climbing gym or yoga, biking around Oakland with friends, or bottling my latest batch of kombucha.
I'll still go to bars to catch up with friends or hear music I'm stoked on, but I'd probably rather be getting to bed early with a guidebook and my alarm set to get me on the road.
That said, I'm still down for a underground party or club event if the music is right, and I'm not scared of seeing the sunrise from either side of the day.
Radical politics are important to me. I don't support either political party, and I generally prefer people with a thoughtful, critical analysis of capitalism and other forms of hierarchy or authority.
What I’m doing with my life
Seeing balance. Taking it one day at a time. Experiencing as much of this beautiful world as I can. Working hard to play hard.
I’m really good at
Listening. Being patient. Making plans and sticking to them. Just going for it without any plans and having an awesome time. Being there for my people (friends, family).
Climbing all the things. Making frittata.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Current favorite authors include Ursula Le Guin, Orson Scott Card, Haruki Murakami, Chuck Palahniuk. Also Arundhanti Roy, Chuck Klosterman, Jon Krakauer.

I grew up on punk rock but now mostly listen to indie rock and chill electronica (Tycho, Com Truise, etc). I was there for dubstep, but I'm glad it's over.

I don't watch a ton of TV, but current shows I've gotten into are Orphan Black, Hannibal, True Detective and Game of Thrones

I like preparing simple, yummy meals like big salads, veggie stir fry, or pretty much anything involving avocados. Sharing meals with friends is important to me, even if it's just grabbing burritos and sitting by the lake to catch up.
The six things I could never do without
I love cats, but I just lost mine recently
The mountains, and the gear and will to climb them.
The ocean.
My close friends and family.
My bike.
A sticker that says "the best things in life aren't things"
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to live the life I want in the bay area and still be free enough to travel and experience the world.
Dismantling capitalism and smashing patriarchy, racism and sexism.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sleeping in my car at the base of a climb, pulling on plastic at the gym, catching a friend's punk show at some grimey house in oakland, staring into the flames of a bonfire, or in bed early with a book
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
i love happy hardcore. also the fact that i've changed this entire profile except this sentence.
You should message me if
you want to...
