My self-summary
Okay, I lied in my details: I didn't actually drop out of space camp. In fact, I didn't even go to space camp, which would have been a lot cooler than going to Asian camp. I still can't fan dance and/or do Taekwondo. In fact, I just had to look up how to spell "Taekwondo," and it turns out I've been spelling it incorrectly all these years. Yup, I'm the whitest Korean girl you'll ever meet. So, sorry to all you people who keep messaging me because you're "into Asian girls." :b

I am mostly on here to do the quizzes. I am currently in a 2+ year relationship (with someone I met on OkCupid). If you message me, I will probably not message you back. Especially if the only thing you have to say is "B5 and Star Trek are awesome! [insert random Patrick Stewart reference]." I literally have over 250 messages saying the exact same thing.

I am bitchy, caustic, and solitary
What I’m doing with my life
I tried law school and hated it. Then I realized that I'd given up a decent paying, secure job during a huge economic downturn. Oops. Anyway, now I'm working in a marketing department for a large testing service and totally love it. I'm going to school part-time to get an MBA for fun. I also enjoy taking math classes because it is my life goal to understand calculus.

In the little free time that I have, I enjoy running and trying new recipes. I've been eating mostly paleo/primal since the beginning of the year.
I’m really good at
English, and other specified talents. Also, playing classical piano; frak that pop crap.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm quiet... and Asian. Also, sometimes I am up to 5" taller than normal since stiletto heels are fun... As long as I don't want to actually walk. :b
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: George R. R. Martin rocks, but is slow as hell in actually publishing. Douglas Adams, Bernard Cornwell, and J. R. R. Tolkien (I'm noticing a trend of authors with double "R" initials...) Robert Jordan: WoT before it started to suck. Neil Gaiman, Isaac Asimov, and select Piers Anthony... Yeah, those are authors and not actual books; deal with it.

Movies: Serenity, Gattaca, The Princess Bride, the original Star Wars, The Boondock Saints, Dead Poets Society, Stand By Me, Kingdom of Heaven (despite Orlando Bloom)

T.V.: Babylon 5, Supernatural, Doctor Who, Leverage, Burn Notice, Star Trek: TNG (and DS9, Enterprise and TOS in small doses - but NOT Voyager), Bones, Battlestar Galactica, The Sarah Connor Chronicles, House, NCIS

Food: Kimchi, sushi, and steak.
Six things I could never do without
My computer, PS3, car, sushi, internet access, and (sadly) my cell phone.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
New paleo recipes and how to cook the perfect steak.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with my kitties and playing video games... Yeah, I'm a real party girl and not lame at all... Seriously! Wait, where are you going?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
People think I'm quiet because I'm shy. I'm actually quiet because I don't like most people and don't feel like wasting my breath. Telling me to shut up because I talk too much is not amusing.
You should message me if
A) You're intelligent, have a basic grasp of the English language, and aren't a freaky left-wing hippie (same goes for fanatical religious nuts and uber-conservative creeps). Bonus points if you can appreciate my somewhat off sense of humor.

B) Patrick Stewart.
