My self-summary
Just the basics:
Not from around here, in a solvent phase (instead of a travel phase)
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a research associate at a market research firm, which is just like in the movies. Specifically, Office Space.

I read and write for fun, make so many, many snide remarks, and I recently gave up hardcore wandering to live with my dearest friends, whom I love.
I’m really good at
I'm trying to show, not tell. Though I guess I've given away the store now.

In any case I'll take this as an excuse for a fun list:
making peanut sauce, smiling at strangers, riding trains for a long time, sleeping when other people are awake, walking around cities alone at night, imagining the lives of my descendants, counting in binary on my hands, shelving books, and playing a blues scale.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I absolutely love a dry, cutting line.

But let's give you some data to work with. See if you like what you figure out from the following:
I love novels like The Last Samurai by Helen DeWitt, Anathem by Neal Stephenson, A Canticle for Leibowitz by Walter Miller, Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami, and The Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet by David Mitchell, plus poets like Auden, William Carlos Williams, Tao Qian, and Du Fu, and lots of nonfiction.

I love old movies like His Girl Friday, To Have and Have Not, The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, Seven Samurai, or A Better Tomorrow, and I like new movies like Brick, The Big Lebowski, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, or Infernal Affairs. I like awesome movies with explosions and terrible movies in which people say things like, "We're only gonna get one shot." I love the-right-side-of-blockbuster 贺岁片, the Criterion Collection, documentaries, mockumentaries, and Miyazaki films.

I like jazz a lot, and Irish folk songs, and things like World's End Girlfriend, Petrychor, Dave Carter, Nightwish, The Decembrists, Mogwai, Bela Fleck, Andrew W. K., Metric, Bruce Springsteen, or Sodagreen.

Dr. Who was designed with me in mind, I think. That and early Community.

I love the combination of spicy and sweet in one flavor, like in Mexican chocolate or drinks with ginger in them. And Harrar coffees, mm.
The six things I could never do without
It's crucial to be able to take anything un-seriously. Brunch is just wonderful. Giving someone a hug for the fuck of it is usually a good idea. Sometimes you should just ignore the question.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where to travel to, and how things work.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Usually I like things, rather than disliking them. Know what I mean?
You should message me if
it seemed like a good idea at the time. If you‘d like to get a coffee! Or maybe go to a museum with me, sit for a long time talking, or take a train somewhere.
