My self-summary
I am a goth, of sorts. I love the band Tool and the band Skinny Puppy. (Knowledge of the latter is a prereq for getting to know me; well, so I am not that bad - but knowledge of, and a liking towards, Skinny Puppy is preferred) I love to read books by Chuck Palahniuk. As for art, I don't know much, but I do know that I love Alex Grey and H.R. Giger. To support these loves, I work as a barista. I enjoy drinking, but try not to get drunk too often. Rum is my favorite alcohol, but whiskey is a close second. I also enjoy (yes, I do enjoy it) smoking Camel Filters as well as the occasional clove cigarette. I love going to Art shows and concerts, as well as just walking around Seattle and finding funky and cool stores. I write a little bit, mostly poetry, but I do dabble in short stories as well. At any rate, that is probably enough about me.

I am goth-industrial, liberal, and introverted
What I’m doing with my life
I am currently attending school at Seattle Central Community College, and working on my AA. As mentioned above, I work as a Barista at Starbucks. I am hoping to move to San Fransisco in a year or two when I am finished with college. Right now I am just hanging out and having fun living on my own.
I’m really good at
I don't know that I am the one to judge or not, but I would like to think of myself as really good at writing. Again, mostly poetry; my short stories are not always that great. But I think that I have a talent for writing that I need to cultivate.
The first things people usually notice about me
My mohawk; at least when I spike it. Then they notice that I wear nice shirts and ties, and get all confused. I like to mess with peoples preconceived notions of what people are, and what boxes they fit into.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
A. Naked Lunch, Fight Club, Requiem for a Dream, Trainspotting, The Gashlycrumb Tinies, 1984, Survivor, The Little Girl and the Cigarette, The Wasp Factory, The Wanting Seed, The Doors of Perception and Heaven and Hell B. Donnie Darko, Requiem for a Dream, Trainspotting, Monty Python (including Flying Circus), The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Natural Born Killers, Sin City, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels C. Actually, I hate to eat. I really do. I find it to be annoying; a waste of time, energy and money. I hate to cook. I hate to pay for food. I wish that I could survive without food. It would make life so much simpler. That being said, I do enjoy a good steak from time to time; nice and bloody. I personally much prefer to substitute coffee for food.
Six things I could never do without
Tool, Skinny Puppy and that actually pretty much sums up the list. Music is my life, and those two bands are by far my favorite bands.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Music and politics. Mostly about local and domestic issues such as abortion rights, and marriage equality. skinny puppy
On a typical Friday night I am
Either working or at a house party.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I use a fetish photography book as a coffee table book, and I certainly get some interesting comments on it.
You should message me if
You like Skinny Puppy. (Although I like Tool more than Skinny Puppy, Tool fans are a dime a dozen, whereas Skinny Puppy fans are not. That and the rest of my lifestyle fits more towards the goth-industrial spectrum than the metal/prog rock spectrum.)
