My self-summary
"Would you could you on a train? Would you could you in the rain?"

Independent filmmaker looking for the leading lady of his life.

I'm just a fun loving movie buff looking for someone to share the good times with. I'm one of those people who doesn't honk the second the light changes because I believe there's no point in rushing to get to the next redlight. In other words, I'm fairly laid-back. I believe life is about the journey as much as the destination.

Besides movies, I like to take walks, eat out, walk on the beach, or go the the casinos. I'm prone to hopping in the car and taking spontaneous road trips. I especially love New York City. I like seeing the sights like museums, historical locations (I want to head back on a trip to Charleston, SC just to see all the mansions). I feel like I don't travel as much as I want, but I love it when I do. I also enjoy a quiet night at home or having a beer at a good bar.
What I’m doing with my life
Day job is with the government. I also dabble in making independent films. Mostly I've made action type movies, but I'm shooting a couple of 3 Stooges style comedies currently.
I’m really good at
I've been told I'm a half-decent writer/filmmaker.

I'm also a pretty good listener. Of course, that's part of my job. If nothing else, I'm willing to give a shoulder to cry on.

I'm also pretty good at making pizza. I have a pizza stone in the apartment and have taken to making my own pizzas instead of ordering out.

I can also give a good massage. :)
The first things people usually notice about me
My sense of humor. It can be a little warped, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. That, or my Hawaiian shirts!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
For books I really like mysteries and non-fiction. Favorite writers include James Patterson, Lee Goldberg (the Monk novels), Erle Stanley Gardner, Agatha Christie, and Raymond Chandler.

For movies, I like almost anything; action movies, thrillers, comedies--everything but modern horror. I'm very much a movie buff. Absolute favorites include the Indiana Jones series, Jaws, the Star Wars films, My Fair Lady, Kiss Me Kate, and almost anything Hitchcock--particularly PSYCHO, DIAL M FOR MURDER, and REAR WINDOW. I also really dig 3-D movies (the older ones from the 1950s are my favorites). Comic book movies like the Christian Bale Batman films and the recent CAPTAIN AMERICA are also high on my list. I am also a huge Steven Spielberg fan and a Steve McQueen fan. And while for a long time I made jokes about the 1970s, I'm finding that I'm really into movies from that decade and have quite a few of them on Blu Ray!

My music tastes are a bit ecclectic, but I'm probably most into 1980s music. Favorites include Billy Joel, Belinda Carlisle/The Go-Gos, Louis Armstrong, Nat King Cole, Huey Lewis and the News, Celine Dion, the Beach Boys, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr., Jane Monheit, Renee Olstead, Diana Krall, and Meat Loaf.
Favorite TV shows include Elementary, Psych, Monk, Columbo, CSI, NCIS, The Newsroom, Perry Mason...yeah, mysteries again. I also liked the recent version of V.
As to food, I like Italian, Seafood, Burgers (I make a pretty good one myself), and steaks.
Six things I could never do without
My car
My imagination
the internet
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life in general. Where I've been, where I'm headed. And that special someone I'm still looking for. Maybe she's you?
On a typical Friday night I am
Relaxing after a long week at work. This usually starts with a happy hour at a Center City bar with friends. After that? Who knows? I may take a drive, watch a movie, head to the mall, casino or the beach.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
That would be telling. ;)
You should message me if
You want to!
