My self-summary
I'm Batman.
What I’m doing with my life
Striking fear in the hearts of evil-doers.

But when not jumping around the rooftops of Gotham in spandex --

I make TV documentaries (but not those boring "important" ones – more like “what’s your favorite horror movie?”). It does allow me to do a lot of different things and meet interesting people in entertainment.
I’m really good at
See above.
The first things people usually notice about me
The cape?
The pointy ears?
Sigh :( ya, I know - It's the spandex...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, E.T., Superman: The Movie were the films that I grew up on and influenced me so much I had to make a career in show business.

Other favs - Tarantino, Baz Luhrman, Joss Whedon, Peter Jackson, Coen Brothers, John Hughes, David Lynch; Ridley Scott, Brazil, LA Story, Local Hero, The Stuntman, Excalibur, Holy Grail, Bringing Up Baby, Arsenic & Old Lace, I Know Where I'm Going, Wall-E, Up (anything PIXAR really), comic book movies whether it's Kick-Ass, Deadpool, Avengers or Batman Begins. Anything by Kenneth Branagh - he single handedly ignited a love of Shakespeare in me with Henry V.
Monty Python and Mel Brooks were some of my formative influences, which might explain my oh-so sophisticated sense of humor.

I read a lot; from philosophy, history, science, archaeology, mythology to comic books. Harry Potter. Stephen King, Harry Dresden, Wheel of Time, and other fantasy, urban fantasy, sci-fi. Love Christopher Moore, Douglas Adams and just about any British humor writer.
And playwrights - I have to mention David Ives, Tom Stoppard and Steve Martin.
Although those listed above are mostly fantasy/sci-fi, I also enjoy some pop culture non-fiction such as Richard Dawkins and Malcolm Gladwell. I'm also a sucker for Elizabethan history and historical fiction, especially those about Shakespeare.
Television: The Americans - best show on TV! Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey, Walking Dead, Justified, Doctor Who, Modern Family, Breaking Bad, Lost, BSG, Farscape, Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica.

I'm a big fan of most music, from pop to punk, but especiall '80s music. Some current favorites - Muse, U2, Linkin Park, Evanescence, Cobra Starship. Just about anything that is derivative of Kate Bush (she has been a huge influence on most angsty rock chicks).

I'm truly enjoying the renaissance of cheesy 80s cover bands - some of the most fun shows I've been to in a long time.

Favorite food - yes please!
The six things I could never do without
My utility belt
A batarang that won't crack when thrown at a fleeing evil-doer
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Halloween.
On a typical Friday night I am
Lurking in the shadows waiting to pounce (on aforesaid evildoers of course.)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Yeah, I like musicals - somethin' wrong wit that?
You should message me if
