I enjoy being lost.
I have a weakness for crossword puzzles.
I like deeply analyzing shallow pop culture.
If your answer to "what do you listen to?" is either "everything" or "anything but country and rap LOLOL!" we will not get along.
I am never finished exploring.
Apparently not liking seafood means I wasn't ACTUALLY born in MD.
I have a passion for chili.
I'll probably try to cook for you.
I begrudgingly admit that people are a big part of what gives life depth.
I hate people. I (usually) love individuals.
Been loving everything by Bret Easton Ellis lately. Otherwise Burroughs (Wm.), Kerouac, Selby, Camus, Vonnegut, Ginsberg, Derrick Brown, a lot of classics, good philosophers.
Also love Pihkal and Tihkal.
I will watch pretty much any movie once. I enjoy weird movies. I love to watch awful horror movies, but only if I'm able to mercilessly mock them. I will also watch pretentious art-house FILMS, but I probably won't take it too seriously.
Some favs that come to mind: Brick, Grosse Point Blank, Pulp Fiction, Big Lebowski, The Life Aquatic, Coffee and Cigarettes... TBC
Drunk History, Orphan Black, The Wire, Arrested Development, No Reservations (<3 Bourdain), Breaking Bad, Iron Chef, Life and Earth (The Discovery Channel series)
My taste in music varies a lot. I can get into pretty much any genre, as long as it's being done well, and I refuse to completely discount a genre in its entirety.
I do listen to a lot of pretentiously hip "indie rock" and pretentiously shallow "rap."
Recent Favs: Chvrches. Modern Baseball. Arctic Monkeys. The xx. The Weeknd. Purity Ring. Twin Shadow. Dirty Beaches.
