I'm open-minded; I'm never afraid to try new things and always love learning new things. I feel the more I learn about the world, the more I can be useful in any situations.
I like walks in the woods, Driving my CRX, and playing video/computer games (Multiplayer preferred! I get bored of stuff unless it's with people). I'm also quite the fan of beer and whiskey! If you've never tried whiskey with a pickle juice back, you're missing out. it's quite something.
I'm an awkward 'sumbitch sometimes, but I do like people. everybody's great. learning about other people's perspectives is a great way to learn more about yourself.
I'm in an polyamourous relationship, namely a marriage, with a wonderful lady. It's our choice, seeing as how we got married so early in life, and still want to explore the world and its infinite romantical, passionate and mysterious possibilities.
That being said, I'm not much into threesomes or what not, my partner and I are more one-on-one when it comes to partners. We're both pretty private when it comes to our intimate relations.
I was going to college for medical stuff, but recent grades have left me pretty pessimistic about that front. Recently I've been focused on writing, and I paint houses on the side.
I'm really into writing pencil-and-paper games, of any sort, to fit ideas for stories that would feel better played out, rather than read. The game I've been working on currently is in testing with a group of friends, and now it's a weekly thing! I feel pretty accomplished.
I WAS starting a game design studio, but then one of my colleagues fucked off to the Bay, and then it all fell apart. Ah, well. C'est La Vie.
Getting drunk and making a foo' outta myself. :P
I'm also really good at stuttering. I dunno why, I just am. That is, stuttering in person.
Building people up. I love making people happy, or helping them work through lame stuff.
My so-called "clutch cooking" (a form of "throwing shit together and then calling it food") has graduated into "actual cooking". I take immense pride in being able to whip up a nutritional, delicious meal with a minimal amount of planning. I love cooking for other people, because it makes me happy when other people enjoy their meal. Ask me to cook for you! I'd love to make something you think is great. :)
"This food is great!" - most people
"Great to talk to!" - people on the internet
"GINO!!!" - wasted dude at the bar
"Wow, he's handsome." - No one, really, I just like quotes.
"NUHHH." -Other wasted dude at the bar. I work at a bar, okay? I've seen some shit.
Er, um, I dunno? Me? This guy? I'd hope not something sad like my fly being down or something.
Either they hate me or think I'm really chill. Seriously, it's like a coin toss sometimes.
My eyes are green-hazel, and some people catch that right away.
I really, REALLY like cooking. I'm getting really good at it!
If you haven't had Ceviche, I'd love to make it for you. It's delicious.
Ringworld, Golden Compass, anything my Issac Asimov, The Way of the Peaceful Warrior, ...that kind of stuff.
I finished all of Harry Potter and Artemis Fowl, and I can definitely say my life was better for reading them. Haha
Does comics and manga count? Because I've read plenty.
-DISCLAIMER- If somehow the topic comes to Marvel comics, you might hear too much about the particulars of some masked vigilantes. Unless you put your foot down, it will go on for a while.
Noir films, Action movies, ooh, ooh, Kung-fu movies, Cop Dramas, and others. ooh! I just Watched Dororo. if anyone's into Osamu Tezuka, you should check that out.
I've been more and more getting into Wes Anderson nowadays. I have no idea why, but after watching Zissou, something clicked.
Futurama, Internet series, Walking dead, Game of Thrones, Weeds, I guess I just like HBO shows.
Does Anime count as a show?
Kill La Kill, Gurren Lagann, FLCL. I'm also a huge fan of Mobile Suit Gundam and Initial D.
All over the place. Daft Punk, Nine Inch Nails, EdiT, Birdy Nam Nam, Dropkick Murphys, Devil's Train (Wooo!), Deadmau5, Nero, The Blues, and Selective Rock pieces.
I've been listening to more Electro, Like Prototyperaptor and Savant, and cutting back on the dubstep. I've also been introduced to Eurobeat, and LET ME TELL YOU. Do NOT listen to that shit while driving. It will almost always result in you going 15-20 over.
I only really like Punk and Ska if it's live. I like the energy and mosh pits!
My sketch pad. I'm not an artist, but i like doodling way too much.
The "bad" weather. I love it so much.
My left arm. I need it to help people.
Love. if that were gone, I'd be too.
Passion. it's what makes the world go round.
"You know, it's said that when someone looks at sky and sees birds flying, it makes them want to go on an adventure." Bonus points if you know where that came from.
My survival, and our survival as a species.
On the note of my polyamory, I get really beaten up over the fact that in some people's minds, they think of "Poly" as the same as slut, or player. the real reason I don't flaunt my status in public,is because I've had men try to steal my wife, or shame me by using who I am as ammunition. But, I think saying this stuff on a dating site is harmless enough. (UPDATED: it's not. I'm not expendable, potential suitors! I am a human being with needs, not someone to flirt with and then cease contact with because you got back with your ex. Seriously. At least shoot me a, "sorry, but I found better" or some shit. Jesus.)
On that note, while friends are very nice, I would love to go on dates, maybe you can show me your favorite outdoor spot in a city? I would love that, or a favorite restaurant, etc.
you like being yourself, no matter who tells you otherwise.
You lie awake wondering if what you ate tonight will punish you tomorrow.
you like to adventure!
you keep it real. I mean honestly. If it's real, keep it.
DTC. that means "down to cuddle".
If you want to be in the passenger seat while I hit 60mph and the drop 20, shift to third gear and screech around a double S-bend. I can do it one-handed while shifting. it's my best driving move.
I'm a lot more mobile than I used to be, but I work during the week. I usually have closing shifts, though, so feel free to hit me up for lunch or something! :)
