My self-summary
I value emotional intelligence, intellectual curiosity and spontaneous shenanigans. I am envisioning a long term partnership, though recognize that the most meaningful relationships happen when I let go of efforting and flow with my surround.

I tend to choose one of the steeper paths to the top of the mountain, and am known to jump into ciphers with dudes who have a lot more street cred than me. I am dedicated to healing and growth, both internally and with the people I work with and I try to bring this intention to every other thing I do as well. I am working at being less hard on myself these days, amongst other things :)

Some find my joy contagious. There's more to me than joy, but let's just start with that.

Also, I love to dance.
What I’m doing with my life
I work as a counselor and art therapist. I also DJ weddings and private parties- I used to tour and play music in clubs full time though I have moved on from performing and it's often sunlight deprived trappings. However please do message me if your cousins bar mitzvah or quinceanera is coming up, or if your cousin needs help recovering from trauma, depression, anxiety or a recent loss.

I love nature, hiking and backpacking. I seek out the most remote part of the park/forest/mountain/lake/beach. I like to make fires and burn cedar, copal and palo santo, creating and practicing a few rituals I have learned and benefited from.

I also LOVE making art and music, though I have precious time to pursue their creation myself these days. I drive a lot for my job and sing along with pop radio in spite of my dusty gem worshipping dj self.
I’m really good at
staying grounded, resurrecting forgotten slang, languages, chopsticks, navigation, making up songs, harm reduction
The first things people usually notice about me
I have a distinctive and wonderful laugh. That and I'm a tall white dude...
