My self-summary
I have spent the last couple of years working and traveling, trying to get out there and see the world while I have the chance and am not yet too tied down to do so. Life is too short to keep putting things off until "later" and I don't want to wake up one day with regrets about things I could have done. I'm a night owl. I love sushi. I read a lot. I really love traveling. Sometimes I prefer my own company to that of others.

I am smart, quiet (but not shy), and adventurous
What I’m doing with my life
Working....traveling...although I am looking for a change. I'm considering goinig back to school in the next year or so, for a change of pace. I spend a good amount of my spare time with my friends and family. I like going to the movies, concerts, out to eat or to get a drink, or just staying in and reading a book or watching a movie.
I’m really good at
I'm a really good cook and baker; it tends to relax me. Sadly I don't do either enough. I am really good at crossword puzzles (perhaps I do them too much?). I am really great at procrastinating...
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes. Or maybe that I tend to be somewhat on the quiet side.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
A Separate Peace, The Poisonwood Bible, The Tempest, In the Time of the Butterflies

Muse, Toots & The Maytals, George Clinton & Parliament, U2, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Decemberists, They Might Be Giants, Kings of Leon, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, PJ Harvey, Billy Joel, Eric Clapton, James Brown, Jane's Addiction....I listen to pretty much everything, except country.

Empire Records, Dirty Dancing, National Lampoon's Vegas Vacation, Fight Club, all the Harry Potter movies

I love Indian, Thai, sushi, Italian, gyros, asparagus, seafood-I'll try just about anything.
The six things I could never do without
my computer, my passport, books, coffee, my friends, learning
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where I am going to travel to next? How long until the next time I can visit my niece? What I am going to do with my life? Should I go back to school? Where did I put my coffee?
On a typical Friday night I am
Working, unfortunately. After that, probably reading or watching a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I read trashy romance novels when I need a break and don't want to think...or when I'm at the beach.
You should message me if
you want to chat or grab a coffee sometime
