My self-summary
“I used to think I was the strangest person in the world but then I thought there are so many people in the world, there must be someone just like me who feels bizarre and flawed in the same ways I do. I would imagine her, and imagine that she must be out there thinking of me too. Well, I hope that if you are out there and read this and know that, yes, it's true I'm here, and I'm just as strange as you.”

I spend my days listening to Zac Brown and my nights in a heavily sadistic relationship to cheap whiskey and expensive wine. I like loud music, sunny days, and random beach trips that turn into long weekends. I'm not shy and over curious about what makes you tick, to the point of annoyance, and I'm always going to open the door for you. Chivalry isn't dead, it's just chosen it's few Heros wisely. If you like to dance, to just about any beat or frequency, we will get along, and if you sing loud in your car and louder in the shower then we might just be soul mates. I have an obsession with chocolate chip cookies, and think Oatmeal Raisin cookies are the reason most people have trust issues. I am extremely family oriented, but in no way a mommas boy. I think the best nights are the one that start as "a short night out" and end up with a handle and a sunrise. If you think you can out hustle me on the dance floor, then lets do it.
What I’m doing with my life
Work like a Captain, but play like a pirate.

What I'm doing with my life right now is working so I can play. I love to get away, either in this country or outside. I'v been back packing through Europe and New Zealand, and have Costa Rica and Central America on the books for later this year. I am afforded it through my job, and love it, but, without travel and leisure I would go crazy.

Iv also found the busier I am, the happier I am. I try not to let myself get stagnant and love to keep moving.
I’m really good at
Finding the lighter side of a situation. I am quite a happy person, and tend to stay that way no matter the mood.
The first things people usually notice about me
My dodgeball skills. Or my manners around a dinner table. Grandpa was a southern gentleman, and if you knew him you'd laugh for a long time at that comment. But, in honesty, it's probably my sport coat and pocket square, while in at Red Robin. I like to dress up for the worlds best cheeseburger.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
This is such a hard catagory to write out all the way.

Books: Keasey, McCarthy, Gladwell, George Orwell, Franz Kafka, Stienbeck, Khaled Hosseini, Vennegut. A reader by nature. Pretty much love anything that can give me a good escape.

Movies. Anything with Bruce Cambell. Princess Bride. Anything with Vince Vaughn, and everything with Denzel Washington. But, I will actually watch anything that is not a horror movie, that shit scares me. Also, the Fifth Element. I you want to have a fun discussion, lets discuss what the Fifth Element is. Is it Love, or just the Girl, does she need to feel love to work, or was she just refusing to work cuz she was sad?

I will go to any concert, love the Portland Orchestra and Ballet Theater, Seen Jimmy Buffett quit a few times, and it truly is an awesome time. The Dirty Heads, Murs, pretty much all of Living Legends actually. Any concert at the Zoo, its a great atmosphere, expect the horrendous alcohol prices.

Music is a pretty wide field. I dont like todays modern country, except Zac Brown and Eric Church, but, you cant consider them country really. Right now I'm heading to the Dominican Republic to see Zac Brown in concert. Beer on the beach with good friends and good tunes. Should be fun.

Food, just sushi, I'll just have that for every meal please
The six things I could never do without
Travel, good food, good friends, sunny days, a passport, family
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a bit of time thinking about where my next travel spot will be. Or what book to read next. Or maybe that I should get back online and see what concerts are coming into town, or if I have tickets to the Blazer game that weekend. I spend a good deal of time just thinking to think, mostly day dreaming to be honest
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually out of town, camping or at the beach, maybe traveling, doing something. That or out with friends having a few drinks somewhere.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I sing Miley Cyrus every time it comes on the radio. Fact.
You should message me if
Any of this sparks your interest, but, lets be honest, how often have you messaged a guy? Maybe its time to break that chain.
