Personality wise, I am genuine, loyal, driven and have a healthy dose of sarcasm. I tend to gravitate to those who are active, have broad interests, are modest, secure with what they don't know, and who embody a good balance between practicality and whimsical pursuits.
I would like to meet someone who is passionate about what they do, engaged and productively critical of the world (i. e., cognizant of current events and doing their part to take a stand on issues that matter to them), who has a big heart, empathy, and who sees life as a quest for authentic experience rather than the accumulation of stuff.
Outside of work I enjoy traveling (I'm a fan of both urban and outdoorsy adventures, athletics (mostly running and mountain trekking, whenever I can), wine tasting, trying to find the best cup of coffee in the city (I hail from Portland, OR, so good coffee is a core need) reading a good work of literature or a history book, watching films + documentaries, and scrounging for deals on nice furniture.
