My self-summary
Hi. I'm a bit of a geek, although I try to enjoy both high and pop culture (especially of the sci-fi/fantasy variety), as well as stimulating and/or inane conversations (depending on the mood).

I'm looking for someone with similar interests and mellowness, who would enjoy a walk in the park, a visit to an art gallery, or just spending the night in. Above all, I want to meet someone who I can talk to easily and enjoy being with.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a data scientist working in the medical field, mining data to improve health care.
I’m really good at
Science (especially biology and computer science) and tech in general.
The first things people usually notice about me
My height, smile, and high intelligence.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Terry Pratchett, Brandon Sanderson, Harry Potter, A Brief History of Time, The Elegant Universe. Generally, anything science, science fiction, or fantasy.

Movies: Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Lord of the Rings (dirty secret: I never finished the trilogy in book form), the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Star Wars (original trilogy, of course)

Music: The Who, Led Zeppelin, Journey, Nirvana, Pink, Taylor Swift (she's just so catchy!)

Food: My favorites include Japanese food and Thai food, though I'm not a big fan of Mexican. I enjoy trying new foods.

TV Shows/Anime: Stargate SG-1, Doctor Who, Star Trek, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, iZombie, Anything by Joss Whedon, Cosmos
Six things I could never do without
* My friends and family
* Education
* Books (of the e- variety)
* My laptop
* Humor
* The ability to count to six
I spend a lot of time thinking about
* What causes the irregular seasons in Game of Thrones
* How one could travel backward in time while breaking the fewest physical laws
* Where all the baby pigeons are
On a typical Friday night I am
The same thing I do every night: Try to take over the world!

...Well, that, or playing board games with friends. One of the two, generally.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a strong dislike for 1970's architecture. I think Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal said it best: who thought that "brutalist" was the type of public art where people should actually work in every day?
You should message me if
You have compatible or complementary interests, aren't turned off by high tech and science interests, you'd consider going to Comicon with me and think holding hands is pretty cute
