My self-summary
Genuine. Grounded, but not afraid to take risks. I've lived in a bunch of great places, including DC, San Francisco, Vermont and Russia. Grad school in International Affairs brought me back to NY, where I was born and raised. I love to hike. I tend to gravitate toward people who have taken the road less traveled, who have integrity and a dry, self-deprecating sense of humor. My friends are like family and I'm very grateful for that. I'd like to meet someone who has their feet firmly planted on the ground, but doesn't take life too seriously and is comfortable getting outta here when the need arises. Someone who can laugh at themselves (and others...). Someone with whom flirting will never get old.
What I’m doing with my life
I work in corporate philanthropy. All my prior jobs were in the non-profit sector. Now that I am working for The Man, I feel confident saying that it's more fun to give the money away than it is to raise it.

A couple of years ago I started going to dance class again and now I'm performing with a group I helped found.
I’m really good at
Making people who don't know me feel comfortable
Getting in some really good one-liners
Naming that tune in three notes
Galaga and Ms. Pac-Man
Not giving up
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile.

You should message me if
You're turned on by intelligence and someone who's not afraid to tell it like it is (in a very good-natured way, of course).

You like the idea of really getting to know someone and letting them really get to know you back.

You agree there is not much better than waking up next to someone you adore.
