My self-summary
TL;DR: I'm pretty cool and I'm not terribly ugly. See pics for details.

I make stuff all the time. I sell some of it on etsy, and sometimes I commit yarn graffiti. I can entertain myself with a ball of yarn. Sometimes I cut up thrifted wool sweaters and sew them into other things, like ridiculous twirly coats.

I recently moved to Reno. I'm exceptionally bad at making friends but I am trying to get better. I'm not necessarily trying to hook up. Not saying it won't happen, but I hook up mostly with my friends, so like, be friendly. If you come at me with your phone number before you introduce yourself, it's probably not gonna work out.

I'm not necessarily looking for a relationship. Not saying it can't happen, but like, let's not get ahead of ourselves. Introduce yourself first :)
What I’m doing with my life
taking the days as they come. i used to jam myself up with thinking too much; now i spend a lot more time living. being grateful. i run a legit online business selling shiny rocks. and i have a "real job" working graveyard for the government, which makes my schedule a little weird. i get off work around 10am, so grabbing lunch would be an excellent suggestion.
I’m really good at
selling shiny rocks to hippies (although I'm not sure there's much skill there).
The first things people usually notice about me
my dumb hair. you can't really miss it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: mostly nonfiction, memoirs, and anything by Augusten Burroughs or Chuck Palahniuk. I also like books with more pictures than words: photography, art, patterns.

Movies: psychological thrillers, documentaries. I'm a sucker for really great chick-flicks, too, but I won't admit it. I haven't seen most movies, but I'm trying to get better. I'd be down to watch a movie, I just won't think of it first.

Shows: If I had TV, I'd watch shows about design and building and how things work and weird science stuff. And I'm not ashamed to admit I regularly watch things like Project Runway and America's Next Top Model. I like design, art for the sake of art, and weird photography.

Music: my pandora is probably shuffling between pop country and hip hop. i can go from t.swift to 2chainz without missing a beat. that being said, i would rather go see your friend's band at a local venue than listen to popular radio anyway.

Food: I have to eat because otherwise I'd die. I'm an omnivorous opportunitarian. I just don't consume the glutens or the alcohol, but I don't care if you do. I really like pad thai and sushi and bbq wings. I eat a lot more meat than you may think at first.
The six things I could never do without
i can do without most things. i've worked with less. but it sure is helpful to have

1. my jeep
2. a good pack
3. some creative outlet
4. a USB headlamp
5. a good pair of boots
6. lip balm
I spend a lot of time thinking about
what i'm making next, where to run today, and snacks.
On a typical Friday night I am
working. friday is my tuesday. talk to me on monday, when my weekend starts.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
if no one's looking, i'm probably eating candy instead of real food.
You should message me if
you have a recommendation for a local jeep mechanic and/or you have experience or interest in tow-behind campers.

you are bearded and/or kinda dirty. or a lot dirty. i'm talking like dirt in your nailbeds and the folds of your knees.

you wanna go for a run. or a hike. or a walk. or bowling

....and especially if you think running the Grand Canyon rim-to-rim-to-rim sounds like fun. because i really want to do it in the next year or two. (it's about a 48mile roundtrip, i'm considering it more of a "spirited hike", and i'm serious!)
