My self-summary
I'm a native Austinite, chef and crappy guitar player. I just moved back to Texas after living In Hawaii for the last couple of years. It's really nice to be home!
What I’m doing with my life
I moved back to Austin a while ago. I'm working hard on opening my own restaurant, learning how to be a great brewer, and mentoring a bunch of young cooks.
I’m really good at
Avoiding the awkwardness of being the only guy in yoga class, running, playing the same 6 songs on the guitar, getting tan (or slightly less pale), living in the moment, picking where to eat, crosswords, scrabble, sleeping, cuddling, finding something to watch on Netflix, teaching, working slightly too hard, being a good friend, and singing unfortunately loud in my car...

Oh yeah, and giving people nicknames.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm pretty sure it's the beard.

You should message me if
You're intelligent, kind, funny and beautiful. You know where you want to go in life, and have taken at least a couple of steps down that path. You like to travel, love people and aren't afraid to occasionally look a little dumb. You're not looking to jump right in to anything too serious, but are looking for a lifelong partner down the line.

Or you have an excellent culinary sensibility and want to be my guinea pug when I try new recipes.

You want to go see a baseball game of some sort.
