Music is a big part of my life. I can play most instruments and have a music studio in my home. I have seen countless musical performances of all types, from all over the world. I have been to hundreds of music festivals over the course of many years. One night while working in a restaurant kitchen and listening a pop chart based "indie" rock/folkish station it took them an hour and a half to play a song from a band that I haven't seen play live. I have made it my job to travel to every happening festival, within reach. Depending on what festival I want to attend I book myself to work either cooking food for one of many different catering outfits I associate with, perform as a paid firespinner, and/or to provide specialized clothing I design and sew for performers and asap a clothing shop for festival patrons. I have seen this, that and the other. Music is a big part of my life.
Food is great! As a chef my professional relationship with food and my cooking abilities set the ball in motion for the work and life experiences I am having now. I have worked with many styles of food and a dishwasher and have been head chef. Then one week end I cooked for 15+ artists who have had mega radio hit cred ( Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Florence and the Machine...etc..) and decided that I should go on the road, working as a cook at festivals and for that I owe food for facilitating some great experiences... I love to eat texmex. Tacos and tequila is my religion. My favorite is Indian. Thai is awesome. I usually eat out but on occasion I can be motivated to cook some very sexy dishes for people who need that sort of thing in they're life.
head out right after, gather my supplies and make it happen! I'll
probably spin fire several times, entertain the ladies with my charm, and continue to dance until the sun comes up! If there is nothing going on after work I like to relax with a nice beir and go to bed early. I usually plan as appose to "play it by ear", but am definitely down for spur of the moment adventures or change of plans...
