My self-summary
Let's see. Where to start. I moved to Chicago for about 2 years but have moved back home.

I have a pretty dry, sarcastic, and sometimes dark sense of humor and definitely appreciate the same in others. I'm in social work and I manage a crisis program for people with mental health and substance abuse issues.

I love to sing. I was part of the theater scene in Seattle. I was even opera trained in undergrad. So I am a fan of music and singing-though you'll have a hard time getting me to do karaoke. :-P

I'm also kind of a video game geek, but not like the play online with other people for hours and hours kind. That said, I'm not here to play games. I'd love to find someone of substance. Maybe settle down or even travel the world with someone. If you're in the same place, don't be afraid to say hi! Monogamy is important to me and required.
What I’m doing with my life
Hell if I know. Back when I was a kid and actually wanted to be an adult, I thought I'd have it all figured out by now. This adult thing is not what I thought it was going to be.
I’m really good at
Singing. Playing video games. Being a smart ass. Being an awesome friend (really, you can ask them). Finding the best tater tots in any city. Twerking for my roommate... even when she tells me to stop because I know she secretly likes it.
The first things people usually notice about me
Hmm, physically probably my smile and/or my eyes. I get comments about those. It used to be my hair, but I shaved all that off so that's no longer applicable.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm a little bit of a fantasy/scifi geek.
Books: Sword of Truth book series, Hunger Games, The Expanse series, Twilight (guilty pleasure, but it's enjoyable).
Movies: Just about anything sci-fi or fantasy.
In general, I'm not a big reader or music listener, but maybe a movie buff.

Movies (or TV shows) I like:
Under the Tuscan Sun, Big Hero 6
First Wives Club, Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead
Serenity, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica
Xmen DOFP, All the lord of the rings
The Incredibles, All the Bourne movies
Aliens, Sunshine, Marvel movies are great.
Six things I could never do without
Really you can live without anything, but things I would be greatly:
Video games.
The best friends in the world.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future, both how I want it to be and how I can make it be that way.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably working. But if not, I can be found in front of my TV with junk food, or out with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I think this question is funny, considering all the "private" questions we can answer in the Questions section.
You should message me if
You like any of the above, or think we might make a connection.
