My self-summary
I fall a bit on both sides of the fence. Art is probably the most important part of my life up to this point, but I have a career and job I love. I can talk about art (especially music) for hours and want to find someone else who would enjoy doing the same.

I write. I play music. I play soccer. I have a stable income.

I take what I'm passionate about very seriously but I don't take myself that seriously.

I like to work hard when I'm in the zone, but I'm really laid back when I'm not (concerts, music festivals, raves, bars, chilling in the sun). Sarcastic and always making a joke.

I'm also very empathetic and think equality is important.

What I’m doing with my life
Enjoying my work but not letting it solely define me. Trying to read and play music as much as possible to varying degrees of success.

I also enjoy running, skiing, playing soccer, or really anything that gets me outside. I kind of go through this natural cycle in Seattle where I get outside a lot during the summer and work a lot harder at my job and on my art when the weather turns.
I’m really good at
Vinyl collecting
Getting lost in some creative endeavor
Mixing a bourbon drink
Seeming quiet when I first meet people and then talking them into the ground once I get into music or art
The first things people usually notice about me
I seem like a lot more of an asshole than I am. I just make a lot of jokes. Really caring person once you get to know me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Too many to list but a few recent and favorite examples:

Tame Impala (mind-melting live show)

Scott pilgrim vs the world (Edgar Wright is one of the best working directors / editors)

Do androids dream of electric sheep (been on a PKD bender)

Kitchen Confidential (<3 Anthony Bourdain)
The six things I could never do without
My guitars, coffee, some way to listen to my tunes, good wine (and bourbon and beer), people with something original to say, getting out into nature from time to time, and a good book.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How different of a place Seattle would be with different weather.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either go to a show or a chill bar and occasionally an easy night in. Just generally kick it with my close friends. I'm down for anything and like having friends that have diverse lifestyles.
You should message me if
You are passionate and ambitious about your interests and dedications.
