I went to college and graduate school in the western part of the state. I love to ski and snowboard. I normally get about 30 days on the mountain each year. I started skydiving professionally during the summers when I was in college and still keep my instructor ratings current, despite not doing it for work anymore.
My interests are very eclectic. I am just as happy climbing a mountain as I am sitting and having a good conversation. I think having new experiences and thinking in new ways are both so important. I really enjoy writing and am writing a book about various adventures I've been on and lessons I've learned. I'm not pretentious enough to think anyone will want to read it; it's really just a hobby.
My hobbies include:
I believe in working hard and playing hard. I think it is important to dedicate yourself to what you're doing, but to never take yourself too seriously.
I can laugh at most things, especially myself. I think it is important to appreciate what you have, while working for what you want. Also, the little things matter. Help people whenever you can.
I landed my dream job! It is a fantastic career with a tremendous amount if opportunity. I feel very fortunate to have been given this opportunity to have this career and I feel humbled to be surrounded by such high quality people. The pay and benefits are very good but it can require some odd hours and duties. This is definitely the result of a lifetime of choices. If you can get me to tell you what it is, you're a winner.
Being open minded, but speaking my mind.
Appreciating a good story.
Finding value in each day.
A very limited list:
The Catcher in the Rye
Legends of the Fall
The Princess Bride
The West Wing
The Walking Dead
Something to put down my thoughts on.
Surrounding myself by interesting people.
I have an ever growing list of things that I will do. There is a lot out there to experience! I have scratched a lot of the list, but it is much easier to add than accomplish!
Investing. I'm on track to retire at 50 and go adventuring around the world!
1) Only one of us thought that was funny;
2) I really am that bad at flirting.

- You are a strong, independent, person who would like an adventure buddy.
- You believe that it is important to be happy with yourself and what you're doing, rather than looking for someone else to make you happy. That way, when they do, it's a lot better.
- You believe passion and purpose are important.
-You are interested in being friends; any other connection is a bonus.
