My self-summary
I am one of those painfully shy, seemingly outgoing introverts. I try to put myself out amongst the crowds, but when I get there I hardly say a thing and shield myself with a stupid grin on my face. I open up a lot more explaining my answers to the survey questions, so click on "The Two of Us" for all that there.

I can be blindingly brilliant and phenomenally stupid within minutes of each other. I like to figure out how things work. I've taken apart and put back together many things. I'm an artist, focusing lately on type design, exploring sculpture. I don't make a living at that yet. I also draw and paint. I enjoy a day at the beach, seeing movies, and enjoying a quiet evening of indoor activities, or a rather noisy evening of indoor activities.

And, unlike seemingly everyone I match with on this site, I've never been to Burning Man or Machu Picchu.
What I’m doing with my life
Changing strategies. Exploring new directions. Finding my way as well as I can. Sleeping more than I'd like at times I shouldn't be sleeping. Working part-time as a consulting catering logistics technician (i.e. delivery boy).
I’m really good at
I'm not entirely sure, but it definitely isn't filling out detailed personal profiles. This is all still very much a work in progress.

I'm good at painting miniatures for roleplaying games. I've made cakes from scratch that met with favorable response. Sometimes I can dress well, but not often.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
How many of my strong matches (>85%) live just beyond a convenient distance away and are in some variety of non-monogamous relationship. I'm OK with that; I have several polyamorous friends and it works out well for them. It sounds appealing but I don't have any experience to know whether its good for me or not.

Also I think about any excuse to drive to Santa Cruz, and where to park once I get there since the last free lot downtown is no longer free.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably out delivering stuff unless there's something better to do.
You should message me if
If you like me and want me to know about it, since I don't have A-List and enough other people seem to think this is worth mentioning so I'll jump on the bandwagon. I can see that *somebody* liked me, but not who it was, so drop me a note if you're sure about it.

If you think cartoons, games, and toys are more than just kids' stuff. If your idea of fun is drinking cheap wine and playing Mario Kart or Guitar Hero.

It couldn't hurt if you look like Giada de Laurentiis, have a voice like Terry Gross, and would gleefully exclaim that the Eye of Sauron looks like a cooter. (None of those are a requirement).

Or, if you're numerically inclined, if you see I score above 80% match or friend and below 20% enemy, then I figure we have a pretty good chance of working out. It's just a guideline, of course. No need to take it seriously.
