My self-summary
i'm a simple man. apparently, that's not enough for this site. so i'll also say i'm... honest to a fault, easily annoyed by stupidity, sometimes a little fast tempered, but more often than not, happy-go-lucky. i'm pretty outdoorsie, i like to travel a lot, i like to meet different kinds of people.
being somewhat strange myself, i enjoy the company of strange people. not easily grossed out, freaked out, surprized, or impressed. always on the look for something out of the ordinary.
i am funny, laid back, and simple. mostly simple, though.

LE this profile is seriously old. i'm in a relationship now, so i only drop by to browse profiles in search of interesting books and films. sry ladies, i imagine how crushed you must all be :)
What I’m doing with my life
not much, really. i'm living it, i guess, by the drop, as stevie would put it. not planning ahead.
I’m really good at
nothing, as a matter of fact, but i'm pretty good at a lot of things. i like taking photos, cooking, playing pool, travelling (trip planning), and practice makes perfect - that's what they say at least, but they must mean a whoooole lot of practice, 'cause i'm still far from perfect.
The first things people usually notice about me
how should i know? ask them. probably the fact that i joke a lot.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
books: zorba the greek (nikos kazantzakis), foucault's pendulum (umberto eco), the autumn of the patriarch (gabriel garcia marquez), the gospel acording to jesus christ (jose saramago), blindness (also jose saramago), the whole dune series (the frank herbert books, the ones written by his son not so much), one hundred years of solitude (gabriel garcia marquez), gog (giovanni papini), the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy (douglas adams), love in the time of the cholera (gabriel garcia marquez)...
movies: snatch, fight club, monty python and the holy grail, pulp fiction, full metal jacket, the big lebowski, man on the moon, interview with the vampire, american history x, trainspotting, shawshank redemption, the last supper, a clockwork orange, big, being john malkovich, ...
music: queen, therion, jimi hendrix, rory gallagher, ac/dc, dire straits, rachmaninov, bjorn berge, motorhead, muddy waters, cargo, nicu alifantis, iron maiden, stevie ray vaughan, ada milea, cream, b.b. king, amorphis, dead can dance, morphine, phoenix, the who, chris rea, skyclad, empyrium, tiamat, leadbelly, manu chao, pink floyd, lhasa, haggard, cake, dream theater...

The six things I could never do without
non-existant, although i'd have a real hard time adapting to the lack of...:
friends, music, internet, photo camera, bicycle, a decent kitchen
I spend a lot of time thinking about
things i probably shouldn't. also things i should, but less often. places i've been, places i'll go to. people i've read, books i've met. dinners i drank, wines i ate. sensible nonsense. does that make sense? no? good.
On a typical Friday night I am
out with the guys for a beer and a chat, with my girlfriend (when i have one), at home, making plans for saturday :). that is, when i am in town. i like travelling, a lot actually, so friday i might also be packing, or in a car, heading for some cool place (or some regular place, that i'm gonna pretend it's cool, cause i'll be there with my friends, and wherever my friends are, it's cool).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
i'm horrified of getting old
You should message me if
you've lost all hope :)
