My self-summary
I found a new plant today called lamb's ear. I don't have much experience with lamb's ears, but I think the name fits it perfectly. I recommend finding some and touching it.
Update: I actually found it a couple of years ago. But, I haven't since found a specimen that truly embodied the delicate innocence, the silky tuftery, or the gentle aroma of my first encountered lamb's ear in the spring of '09.
What I’m doing with my life
I rent out a duplex and work on renovation projects when I get motivated. Sometimes I work part-time, but I find myself a lot happier without a place I have to be, where people tell me to do things I don't want to do. I suppose that might make me a bit of a bum.

I like making art. I set up a glassblowing studio in my basement , so that's fun. I got pretty involved with the occupy movement, we'll see where things go this year. Wheatland is my christmas, and I want to check out many more festivals this summer. As well as, much regular camping.
I’m really good at
Figuring things out. Navigating the system to gain the most reward for the least amount of effort.
The first things people usually notice about me
Maybe my blue eyes. Maybe a snazzy outfit. Maybe an air of confidence, or lack there of. I don't really know I've never asked.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
The better aspects of most any film tends to leave me with a positive opinion. Great acting, cinematography, humor, or music will all tend to override a crappy story. A few that have won me over are: Stranger than Fiction, Rushmore, The Baxter, Cashback, The Wizard of Oz, and Back to the Future.
I'm also a documentary nut.

Music: Stereolab, Radiohead, Elliott Smith, Billie Holiday,
Laura Veirs, The Shins, Air, Joanna Newsom, and maybe a couple more.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life tends to be a recurring subject of much introspection. With that being said, I love science and am currently on a mission to figure out how everything in the world works. Unfortunately, I also have a sadistic tendency to dwell on everything that is wrong in the world, figure out perfect solutions, and realize they will never ever happen.
