My self-summary
I'm a native Chicagoan returned stateside from life overseas in France/Singapore. I moved out here to find a job in tech and I'm now working in ecommerce... My favorite haunts tend to be in the East Village, Nolita, and the LES but rest assured, I venture above 14th street (and to outerboroughs) to hit the park, the museums/galleries, and to find a good meal.

When I'm not working, I'm usually @ a yoga class, running down the West Side Highway, grabbing some eats and drinks with friends, checking out an area of town I haven't seen yet, a concert or an a museum.
What I’m doing with my life
For now I'm working in e-commerce. Because everybody needs more stuff. (kidding!)

In infinity and beyond, I want to do something that counts a bit more.
I’m really good at
Setting off fire alarms in the kitchen.. while boiling water.
The art of brunch
Curating designs (read: picking things I like)
Yoga poseur-ing
Dealing with cognitive dissonance
Navigating new cities
Ending up in that deep dark corner of the internets.. the one with all the weird stuff.
I'm also better at Spanish than Korean, despite having been raised by my grandma
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm tiny
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Franny and Zooey, Infinite Jest, A Prayer for Owen Meany, Life of Pi, Lords of Finance, Brothers Karamazov, Anna Karenina. David Foster Wallace is my fallen deity. Hunter S. Thompson, Khalil Gibran, Oscar Wilde, and Pablo Neruda are my 'pales-in-comparison' consolations. I prefer tragedy to comedy but only in books. :)

The Lives of Others, An Education, Pirate Radio, Inglorious Basterds, The Departed, Pineapple Express, Shawshank Redemption, Almost Famous, Intouchables, 3 Ninjas, 3 Ninjas Kickback, Mighty Ducks, Safety Not Guaranteed. Anything French.

Six things I could never do without
Travel (or exploring... I guess that could be a proxy)
Music (is the meaning of life)
Yoga (I'd die)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What's important, what I to be when I grow up, how to learn for cheap, what constitutes good design, new concoctions like honey+peanut butter+triple creme cheese+sour cherry jam = face melting calculus baby, whether I can swing a 10 day getaway to that one monastery on that one cliff in Bhutan
On a typical Friday night I am
open to suggestions
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
again, open to suggestions or requests
You should message me if
I just want someone with a whole lotta brains and a whole lotta heart.
