My self-summary
I am a very easy going, open minded individual. I enjoy doing almost anything. I can have fun going out on the town or staying in watching a movie, but prefer not to do either alone. That seems to be a tough mission to complete. Finding someone that enjoys both going out and staying in is a true conundrum. I didn't say that staying in meant we'd do nothing. As far as going out, I enjoy shooting pool, bowling, occasionally dancing. I do drink, but rarely, if ever, have too much to drive on, and I refuse to drink and drive. I have seen that end badly for too many. Typically my drinking has been limited to just couple, often times 2 or 3 drinks with a meal. I prefer to be at full alertness when I know I have to drive myself somewhere. When staying in, I have an extensive collection of DVD's and Blu ray's I would like to maybe sit back and watch with someone whom's company I enjoy. You never know... we may not make it to the end of the movie...
What I’m doing with my life
Currently trying to move my way up at Amazon in Chattanooga, TN. I have two children, whom I love dearly, and if that's a problem, you probably don't deserve me anyway.
I’m really good at
Anything I really try to be. I am a musician on the side, writer, singer, and good with anything to do with my mouth, or my hands.... Take that however you'd like.
The first things people usually notice about me
Been told mostly my smile
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
With Music, I am pretty open minded. I do not, however, like anything I can't understand what they're saying. Like the heavy death metal where all they do is swallow the mic and groan and scream into it.. yeah not what I'd call talent...
With shows, I tend to like the shows with investigations, and murders, such as: Dexter, CSI, NCIS, Castle.
I do also like the following: Weeds, Californication, Game of Thrones, True Blood, Breaking Bad, Being Human, and even the new Teen Wolf show is actually better than I expected.
With Books, I tend to like Fantasy. Judge me if you will on what I read, but I find fantasy is much more exciting than reading about what has happened years ago, or just a fictitional story of someone that things could really happen to. I have a collection of Magic the Gathering books, and yes I mean books that go along with the card game. The stories are what helped carry the card game to the popularity that it has due to the imagination of the writers creating new charactors for the cards in their books. I am also a fan of Terry Brooks, Janet Evonovich, George RR Martin, Suzanne Collins, and quite a few others.
With Food, I would have to say my favorite would be Sushi, although I can rarely find someone willing to eat it wth me. Hibatchi is ok, Chinese Buffets are always good. Go to Golden Coral quite often, but honestly, not a big fan. I tend to go because my children enjoy it. Pizza would probably be my second favorite food, but not just any Pizza. The best Pizza I have ever had, was a Freschetta Pizza (yes frozen pizza), however it was not just that, I did some tweaking of the ingredients to make it even better. I tend to do that often, take old recipe's and tweak them to make a new one, with bolder flavors. Maybe I should have been a Chef. But I doubt I could remember all the french names for things that these famous Chefs on TV seem to go on an on about. I'd give my stuff normal names, like maybe Bourbon glazed steak, or seared scallions in whiskey sause... but I doubt I'll atually get to do that sort of thing professionally. Not enouh money in it to support a family, if you don't have a Cullinary Degree, or Diploma, or Certificate, whatever it is you receive once you graduate
Six things I could never do without
Food, shelter, water, heat, clothes, job
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My childen, if you have any and you don't something's wrong with you. Besides them however, I do think about life in general, and how I could make it better. It seems to always bring me to more money... Funny, they say money can't buy happiness, but it appears that with more money, more can happen to make you happy. you can buy better clothes, better car, better house, better TV's, eat better foods, and with all this, it gives you a better chance to find better people to be around, which means better dating scenarios, which in turn makes you a happier person... Whomever said money doesn't buy happiness, was either a rich idiot, or someone who's never had to struggle to get anything. Having money does make you a happier person, but it could also make you unhappy if you're the type of person who doesn't want anyone to be around you, because you're afraid they'll ask you for money... I guess if the rich people lost all their money, and found out just how unhappy you can be without money, they'd probably understand why I say money can buy happiness.
On a typical Friday night I am
probably driving home from work, wanting to go out and do something, but usually end up staying home because I hate going to do things alone.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Well this is an oxymoron.. let me think about this... I am going to publically display a private thing... hmmm... wow, really? Is this a serious statement? If you would like to know about my private things... I think we should discuss them in person, and alone.
You should message me if
You think I am cute, and you want someone that is fun to be around. You have read any of my profile, and can have an intelligent converstation discussing any of it. Yes, I said it, what most women state on their's... What I have noiced, those particular individuals tend to not be able to carry an intelligent conversation much past hello. Its almost as if someone else wrote their profiles for them.
