My self-summary
I take life as it comes and enjoy the journey. I prioritize my friends and family over most things and always seek to find ways to contribute to the world around me. I'm athletic, always up for a challenge, love to make people laugh, and hope to find the same in a companion. I don't have it all figured out yet and I have no clue what 10 years from now looks like, but I'm motivated, ambitious, and adventurous.
What I’m doing with my life
When I'm not working, you'll find me riding my bike, throwing a frisbee, reading, watching movies, working out, trying to figure out life, listening to music, playing settlers of catan, cooking good food, or maybe just taking a nap.

I just finished my first Ironman triathlon (yeah, the long one) It consumed most of my free time; and now I'm learning how to do other things besides swimming, biking, and running. Granted, it's not like I stopped doing those too.
I’m really good at
solving problems and being a goof ball.
The first things people usually notice about me
is how awesome I am.

Seriously, people probably notice that my desire to have fun and laugh is contagious.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
InZanesville, The Hunger Games, Love is a Mixed Tape, Bossy Pants, any Malcolm Gladwell book (The Tipping Point, Blink...), The Big Sort

New York Times, Lifehacker, TexAgs, Wired, Autostraddle, Flavorwire

the XX, Neon Trees, The Weepies, Lorde, Ingrid Michaelson, The Shins, the Lumineers, Ida Maria, Regina Spektor

If it tastes good, I'm in, but if it was my last meal it would have to be a cheeseburger and a Coke.
The six things I could never do without
good company, music, laughter, knowledge, sunlight, and new experiences
I spend a lot of time thinking about
who I want to be, how to make people laugh with something ridiculous, where my life is going, my friends...
On a typical Friday night I am
having a beer or a cocktail, hanging with friends, cooking dinner, watching a movie, riding my bike, listening to good music... normal Friday night activities.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
is that I have been known to be caught listening to cheesy pop music.
You should message me if
you've seen of Portlandia and thought it was hilarious, want to peruse Half Price Books, need someone to laugh with/at, or are ready to have an adventure and want a partner in crime.
