My self-summary
I work hard, play hard, love hard, and love life. I'm always questioning, looking for answers to the secrets of the universe, and loving the discovery process. Nature, in all it's glory, from a raging storm, a beautiful stem of chicory blossoms, to the sight of phosphorescence trailing from my fingertips in the cool darkness of the sound, all awake the love I have for life. On the negative side, I have a dry wit that may border on sarcastic sometimes, though not deliberately, I won't try to hurt anyone. The lines on my face are laugh lines and the visible signs of a life lived with elan.
What I’m doing with my life
I've just moved to be near family after being totally bummed out by a larger city, and am in the process of reinventing myself. I've gone back to school and am now ready to tackle the world! I have friends here from another lifetime and am looking forward to reconnecting and reaching out to new ones.
I’m really good at
Jeez...I'm the sort that can do a little bit of all sorts of things, but I can't really say I'm an expert at much. I love to fly fish and shoot skeet, although I don't get to do either as much as I'd like. I'm a genealogist, which really speaks to my love of puzzles as do the occasional geocaches I search for. (Yea! A new area to explore!)There's one at the Bunker Hill Covered Bridge, but a lot of muggles to watch for. You're looking at a great cook who loves trying different cuisines, lately that would be Thai, but I never discount a good red eye gravy. I've come to finally realize I will never make biscuits a well as my Dad did.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have a great laugh, and love to use it! And I'm nice. That may be highly over rated to some, but, along with kindness, are among my best attributes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
How can there possibly be a favorite book, movie, show or food when there are always new ones to discover!
Six things I could never do without
My family
A good book
Flowers (You should see the pictures on my camera)!
Laughing, and number seven, fishing.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What comes next, in this life or the next. I so wish I could remember from one to the other. That way I could fully appreciate the wondrous advances in science and technology.
On a typical Friday night I am
No such thing as typical.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have to fight the urge to laugh at a joke before the punch line. Just can't help it.
You should message me if
You're open minded, curious, fiercely loyal and are able to love with total abandon.
