My self-summary
I'm just a regular guy, not rich, not poor, not Brad Pitt but not Danny DeVIto, either. I've been told I have a pretty good sense of humor and decent personality. I don't think I'm weird about anything except I don't like heights. (Outdoors only. Planes and building are OK.) I'm a fairly creative person. I like to write and and have been using my art skills to teach my self computerized graphics. I don't anger easy, except when it comes to politics and social issues and stupid people (like those who give a rat's ass about anything Kim Kardashian is doing).
What I’m doing with my life
I want to get back into journalism on a full-time basis, preferably a newspaper because all other news media are just reflections of real journalism. I have no kids or family so I would move out of Las Vegas any chance I get. I hate the desert heat and the backwoods politics of Nevada.
I’m really good at
I'm a pretty good writer and pride myself at knowing at least something about a lot of different subjects. I'd probably make a good "Jeopardy!" contestant, except in the Bible and Shakespeare categories. I'm a good listener and usually have an opinion about almost anything. Just ask me.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm 12 feet tall and have blue skin. Oops, that's my alter ego. But seriously I don't know what people would notice.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love mostly nonfiction books, like U.S. history, biographies or political insider tomes. My favorite dramatic film is "Citizen Kane."
Comedy is a tie between "Young Frankenstein" and "A Fish Called Wanda." Action/adventure: Three of the firsts four "Die Hard" films. And drama is the little known "What Dreams May Come" starring Robin Williams.
I watch a lot of news on TV because I am a current events junkie. I love the really bad/good movies on the Syfy channel. and the usual cult hits like "Breaking Bad," "The Walking Dead" and "Burn Notice.".
I love Italian food and Chicago style pizza, hot dogs and Italian beef sandwiches.
The six things I could never do without
A daily newspaper. A DVD player (I have a BIG library of movies) and my cat. I'm flexible on the other things.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life, getting older, and how sick I am of looking for the right woman to make happy.
On a typical Friday night I am
Thinking about any tasks I need to get done on the weekend, which movie to watch that night and wondering whether I'll ever be as happy as I want to be..
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I hate restaurants, eateries or whatever, where I have to watch them prepare my food. I don't know why. No Benihana for me.
You should message me if
You're looking for an honest, dependable guy who's not into games or conquests. I'm looking for one special woman and no one else.
