My self-summary
Ok a summary, let's see... born to a rich family, captain of the football team, nice hair... what's that you say? This is supposed to be a real summary and not made up stuff? Well that's just great.

Let's start over. How best to describe myself? I would say I enjoy the majority of everything. My job, looking up random facts on Wikipedia, board games, movies, documentaries, sports, scripted tv shows, pets, new restaurants, and deeper conversations. The one thing I really can't stand is bugs. Any kind of creepy crawlies in my apartment will be met with swift punishment.

I am a strong believer in personal liberties of mind and body. That means things like drinking, smoking, and tattoos don't bother me. Your body is yours to modify in any way you see fit. Politically I probably identify most closely with libertarians.

I'm very comfortable with myself, but am very cognizant of my own limitations. That is probably why no matter how this profile turns out it is never good enough.

That is as close to the real me as I can get. Not the "I've lived in North Carolina all my life, went to NC State, work in software..." me. What's the real you?
What I’m doing with my life
Stealing people's underpants and selling them in the underground market.

But on my off days, I work at a software company, doing quality assurance, some support, and gravitating toward software development.

I'm part of a board gaming group that gets together on Tuesday nights and sometimes on the weekend. We typically play Euro Games or other games of strategy and not party games. My favorite is Agricola, but I also like Puerto Rico, Kingsburg, Pillars of the Earth, and many others.
I’m really good at
Leading an incredibly low drama life. Or at least it seems incredibly low drama compared to some of the people I know. To me it's just normal.
The first things people usually notice about me
The white beard, red suit, jolly laugh. No wait, that's Santi Claus.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Life is Beautiful, 5th Element, American Psycho, Dark Knight, Oldboy, Hero (1992), True Lies, V for Vendetta, The Bird Cage... oh and them Plinkett Star Wars reviews.

Simpsons (seasons 3-6), South Park, Sherlock, Dexter, Game of Thrones, Black Lagoon, Baccano, Death Note (season 1), Foundational Falsehoods of Creationism.

Italian, Mexican, Asian, sushi, pizza, and milkshakes. I've come to realize that I don't really care for Mediterranean.

----Board Games----
Agricola, 7 Wonders, Race for the Galaxy, Pillars of the Earth, Macao, and other euro / german style board games. My favorites tend to have some worker placement or resource accumulation.

----Video Games----
Civilization III & IV, Fire Emblem, Quake III Rail Freeze, Smash Bros, Zelda games, Resident Evil games, Banjo-Kazooie, Dofus.
Six things I could never do without
Air Conditioning
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Unimportant things - tv shows, movies, foosball.
Important things - religion, politics, the economy, the universe.
And everything else.
On a typical Friday night I am
Making a list, checking it twice, going to find out who's naughty or nice... oh wait, that's Santi Claus again.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Would probably not be posted online where strangers could read it.
You should message me if
- If you managed to get this far and didn't see anything that would obviously annoy you.
- If you're interested in board gaming some time.
- If you also really like: Penn Jillette, Jon Stewart, Bill Maher, or Jack Cafferty.
- If you feel like talking for some reason and want a reply.

You should probably not message me if you're looking for someone who will tell you what to do. Or if you revere Pat Robertson.
