My self-summary
My high school English teacher once said that good writing should be like a woman's skirt: long enough to cover the subject, but short enough to keep it interesting. I'm pretty sure he was a pedophile, but I'll try to follow his rule nonetheless.

I’m very fortunate to live a life surrounded by great food, wine, music, and positive people and am looking for a partner that surrounds themselves with these things as well. Someone that considers spending hours together cooking dinner, opening a bottle (or two) of wine, while listening to Dylan and waxing poetic about the merits of his electric endeavors a great way to spend an evening.

I’m introspective and believe the best way to change the world is to start with changing one’s self.

I’m driven to be successful in my endeavors, but having a fancy car or big house are not motivating factors in my life; rather, having a chance to share my passion and have that passion create experiences for other people, now that’s real success is in my mind.

I value intelligence and well thought out perspectives; open-minded people who think the grey areas in life are at least as large as the black and white.
What I’m doing with my life
Making it happen. Doing it with models...econometric models, that is. Starting a winery/wine label. Nurturing my general curiosity for just about everything. Writing in sentence fragments.
I’m really good at
Flossing. Listening. Driving 10 miles an hour over the speed limit. Coming up with creative solutions to problems. Using the word "pedophile" in my profile and still keeping your interest. Playing "string" with my cat. Talking about wine without sounding like a pretentious a**hole.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have absolutely no clue. Maybe you can tell me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Movies - Documentaries about...well, just about anything. Shawshank, Star Wars, Annie Hall, anything Batman, James Bond, Wedding Crashers.

Books - The Alchemist, Catcher in the Rye, Gatsby.

Shows - House of Cards, The Sopranos, The Family Guy, X-Files, West Wing, Madmen, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Duck Dynasty (yeah, I said it), and the Simpsons.

Food - mostly anything except for mayonnaise and olives (unless said olives are in a vodka martini up).
Six things I could never do without
Let's reword that question: "Six things I could never do without on a desert island."

Dark Side of the Moon
A vineyard (I'll handle the rest)
A flare gun
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The origin of the universe. The devil in the details. Climbing Kilimanjaro. Dylan lyrics. What Steve Jobs would do. The grey area. Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream. Mathematical applications to just about everything.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably either cooking or drinking...or both.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a Tom Cruise movie section in my DVD collection. Shhhhhhhhhhh.
