My self-summary
My name is Vincent, but most people call me Vinny. I'm an outgoing, goofy, easy going guy. I'm always looking for new experiences and places to go to. I'm very passionate about music, and have been playing bass for about 11 1/2 years. I can get pretty nerdy & geeky too, although I'm far more outgoing than the stereotypes would have you believe. ENTP.

I have a solid sense of self, and I know what I want out of life. Career success iz my main priority right now, especially since I have a job at a growing company and have a great opportunity to learn a lot. That's not to say I'm not pursuing musical and personal goals, but I know where my priorities lie.

Ask me anything, I'm an open book! :)
What I’m doing with my life
I work at a software company as a "financial and administrative analyst." Sexy, I know. My goal is to have my own consulting firm, and I'm working hard to learn as much as I can so I can make that a reality. Although I work a 9-5, I spend about 8 hours/week outside of it learning SQL and accounting practices.
I’m really good at
Playing a fretless electric bass & accents, impersonations & languages. The "Other" language is Scottish- I ken hoo tae talk scottish. I've also got a knack for troubleshooting and fixing almost anything without the manual, and making my own pasta noodles.
The first things people usually notice about me
My green eyes and the way I dress, which is generally pretty snazzy.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: 1984, Harry Potter, Physics of the Impossible, TKM, Death of a Salesman, Flatland, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, and the Baubles of Blasphemy. I also read a lot of Sci-Fi, namely Warhammer 40K
Movies: Field of Dreams, Forest Gump, Groundhog Day, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, iRobot, Star Wars, Scrooged, Julie & Julia, Mr. Nobody, The Machinist, Silence of the Lambs

Shows: FLCL, Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, house of cards, Westworld, Stranger Things, etc.

Music: I listen to everything from Bright Eyes to Mika to Eluveitie. A few I really enjoy are: Amon Amarth, Nightwish, Elvenking, Bob Dylan, Crosby Stills & Nash, WishGarden, KoRn (Path of Totality is a wonderful album) and Patent Pending. I'm a metal head primarily.

Food: If it's flavorful and well prepared, I'll probably love it. I'm not picky by any means, though lobster is a bit too sweet for my taste and brussles sprouts make me gag. Otherwise, I'm a human garbage disposal.
I'm also a scotch & wine snob. ! generally like pino noir, nebbiolo, and Chianti for wines, and Glevlivet 15+ or Balvenie 10+ for scotch. With beer I'm far more lax. While I do prefer higher quality beers, I won't turn down a free pabst.
Six things I could never do without
1. Family-friends included. My family tends to "adopt" people
2. A/C
3. My bass guitar
4. Music
5. My car
6. Humor- life is too short not to laugh
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Computers, bass lines, the universe and how ridiculously vast and strange it is, and how to fill the holes in data that often looks like Swiss cheese, but is really white cheddar; WHY ARE THERE HOLES MY CHEDDAR?! 😖 ☺
On a typical Friday night I am
Getting together with my best friends, playing/listening to music, oot & aboot having random adventures, or staying in and playing WoW & reading on occasion. Doing the same things week after week wears me down.
