My self-summary
I like metal bands. I would like to meet another intelligent person who also likes metal bands. That is not my only criteria, but having a penchant for metal tends to be a good indicator of how interesting someone is.
What I’m doing with my life
Going for a masters degree in educational technology, teaching, trying new beers
I’m really good at
Painting, teaching, evolving (I'm always trying out new things to better myself)
The first things people usually notice about me
"Can I have your hair?"
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Siddhartha, Of Mice and Men, Fahrenheit 451, Dracula, Frankenstein, Under the Roofs of Paris, Dexter, The Sookie Stackhouse novels, Dexter ( I've only read Darkly Dreaming but am curious to see how much the books deviate from the television series), Great Expectations (because of the South Park episode that spoofs it), The Walking Dead...
Movies: The Wrestler, Sin City, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, X-Files, The Devil's Rejects and House, mostly anything Kevin Smith...Dogma especially (really deep for a comedy movie...), Pan's Labyrinth, Alien, The Evil Dead, The Gingerdead Man (yes! I love cheesey horror films, The Crow (if they are so adamant about remaking that movie, they need to have Rob Zombie direct it and cast a no name such as myself in the movie. I can rock that look..)
Music: Marilyn Manson, NIN, My Chemical Romance, Interpol, Dir En Grey, Red Hot Chillie Pepper, The Cure, Dethklok, Lacuna Coil, Within Temptation, Gwar, Mudvayne, Rob Zombie, Powerman 5000 (the first album only) Sevendust, God Forbid, Iron Maiden, Placebo, and that Gay Fish song from South Park
Television: True Blood, Dexter, The Walking Dead, Boardwalk Empire, Twin Peaks, Batman: The Animated Series, South Park, Hung (so upset they cancelled it!), and I still watch WWE Wrestling from time to time.
The six things I could never do without
Craft beer
Water
Tea
Weekends
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What are Mulholland Drive and Lost Highway really about?
On a typical Friday night I am
Doing something involving fun and alcohol.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I enjoy watching the movie, "17 Again."
I also enjoyed "He's Just Not That into You."
You should message me if
I messaged you.
Or if you liked something on my profile.
If you can make me happier than beer :)
