My self-summary
I'll be in Vermont for the next couple of weeks for a cheesemaking class- it'd be cool to get some recs for food/activities from local, and if you're down for a purely casual/friends-only hang, I'd love to have company for dinner one night, or to hit up any other local spot for a beer or something and hear about your part of the country!

I've been back in Chattanooga for a little while, after 10 years of elsewhere (NY, Argentina, Portland, North Florida, Ecuador), I run a nonprofit rock camp for girls (Chattanooga Girls Rock), and I'm a cheesemaker.

I support 24 hour Bingo Halls and anyone training to compete in Ping Pong for the Gay Olympics. Nothing else is really worth training for.

I have a low tolerance for small talk.

I'm looking for friends, not hook-ups. Don't be creepy.
What I’m doing with my life
Trying to find people to drink beers in the sunshine with in Chatt. Eating all the good things. Cheesemaking. Working on Chattanooga Girls Rock Camp (find it on the facebook!) Volunteering.
I’m really good at
Laughing inappropriately and loudly. Over-committing myself. Spontaneously disappearing to weird places/convincing others to come with me.

My old housemate Jess has edited this to read:
She has an amazing laugh! More of a guffaw, really. She guffaws at things which don't seem that funny at first, but the guffawing will, in turn, make you guffaw.

Also, throwing 90s dance parties.
The first things people usually notice about me
My laugh, hands down. If I'm laughing. Otherwise, my resting bitch face (don't worry, I'm actually a really nice person).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books are moving up my priority list.

TV- I spent too much time in the last few years bingeing british netflix shows and stuff I could steal from my mom's HBOGo acct. No more! (Ok maybe just a little more. I'm always looking for my next fix.)

I like all sorts of music. When it's live, it can be anything, and I'll probably love it. I don't want to be one of those people, but I probably won't like a jam band, though. I'll still try.

I eat most things, and I spend a lot of time trying to cook things that are delicious. Too much time- don't come over hungry...better bring some chips, it'll be a while. My city doesn't have a lot of great food- tell me about your favorites where you are!
Six things I could never do without
a friend-mountains-a decent chef's knife-cheese-warm socks-9 hours of sleep
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Whatever project is next, gender, sexuality, travel, food, my stupid/perfect dogs
On a typical Friday night I am
Forcing myself to go out for Something Fun, which will probably turn out to not be Fun, but you never know and I fall victim to FOMO too easily. I think I'm just getting old and it's harder to entertain me?
You should message me if
1. You want to help us with Rock Camp

2. You want to speak Spanish with me, and engage in item #3

3. You want to get coffee or a beer and over-share/not care whilst I over-share (I forgot about boundaries while living in the boonies of North Florida and in Ecuador, where I spoke to hardly anyone)

4. You want to go on a hike

5. You want to have food adventures

6. You want to be friends
