My self-summary
I just moved back to NY but here is my Utah profile, for I am not in the mood to rewrite one. I am a transplanted New Yorker who moved to Utah for all of the outdoor fun it offers! I love living in Utah - downtown SLC, the Wasatch Mountains, and the Colorado Plateau spur my interests in many ways! Such great skiing, hiking, and biking here! I am a very happy and positive guy- just looking for a fun, smart and positive women to share the good times with together in this special place! No LDS please!
What I’m doing with my life
Enjoying it!
I’m really good at
Smiling, laughing, telling bad jokes, and keeping a positive vibration!
The first things people usually notice about me
Not really sure- depends were I am getting noticed! At a movie I am the one laughing at obscure jokes only a few others get, on the ski hill I am the one going very fast, and in person I am the one with the firm handshake and the bright blue eyes looking right into yours!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I prefer a good book over the TV any day of the week and tend to read a lot! Some of the books I have most enjoyed are "Walden," "One Hundred Years of Solitude," "Guns, Germs and Steel," "A Walk in the Woods,""Pillars of the Earth," "Lolita" and "The Gold Goast."

Music is one of the main driving forces of my life (I am looking for a music lover as well!)- I love all types of music but live music is my favorite, even if it is on my ipod. I listen to a wide array of music but would have to say Dylan is my favorite. I was big into the alternative stuff back in the day (still listen to Fugazi frequently) but have mellowed out a whole lot!

I love going to live music events and think it is always great to have a show on the horizon to look forward to!

I don't watch much TV but will watch Jeapordy if I am near a TV and it is 7:30. I do enjoy watching New York sports teams on occasion as well as a Law and Order here and there. Bill Maher cracks me up!

I love cooking and have worked as a chef to support a ski bum/desert rat lifestyle for a while. If I am not reading, I am usually in the kitchen with some good music and wine- I love to cook with wine and sometimes I use it with my cooking!
Six things I could never do without
1. My mind
2. My Body
3. Music (My ipod)
4. Books (Library Card and those on the book shelf)
5. My outdoor gear that takes me to a lot of interesting places!
6. Good friends, good memories, good plans, good expectations and a positive vibration!

7. For good luck....Mother Earth!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Many different things, but mainly travel, adventure, and fun; philosophy and politics; accomplishing daily tasks and long term goals; wondering about if I will meet the right women for me; what to read or listen to next; and how to better myself, my community, and my planet!
On a typical Friday night I am
I treat all nights the same. I work hard and play hard, but also keep priorities in check. Sometimes its quite reading, early to bed for a day of skiing, or it could be traveling to the desert for a quick slot canyon hike or it could be out exploring the nightlife of SLC. Most of the time, I get up earlier on my days off than on the days I work.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am a private person but if we connect, I will share with you my heart, soul and everything else!

I am a fairly open person!
You should message me if
If you would like to! Don't be shy....I am not!!!
