Spending a lot of time thinking about food.
Making pretty decent meals out of the random food in my fridge.
Thinking up stupid swear word combinations that I can mentally call slow walkers.
Movies: It’s really hard for me to pick out “favorite movies” because a lot of the movies that really speak to me are profoundly depressing. My go-to happiness movies are: Amelie and Pride and Prejudice (putting these in here so you know I am not pandering). Other movies I love: Persepolis, anything with Marlon Brando, Monty Python anything, The Triplets of Belleville.
TV: Arrested Development, 30 Rock, Kimmy Schmidt, Parks and Recreation, Master of None, Flight of the Conchords, recently Black Mirror, GAME OF THRONES. I also have an encyclopedic knowledge of the Simpsons if that’s the kind of thing you’re into.
Books: My favorite book is probably The Jungle because it’s the first book I read that I felt really expanded my consciousness. I am trying to start reading White Trash if I ever get caught up on academic reading. Yes, I am a lot of fun!
I want to read all of Neal Gaiman and I haven't started The Sandman yet, so I want to get on that as well.
Food: I’m really grateful to my parents for being super uncool and feeding me brussels sprouts and beets as a child, because now I’m down to eat anything and everything. I don't even know what to do with all the options here! I have also been told that “french fries are kind of my thing,” so do with that what you will.
(I’m going to disregard the obvious hierarchy of needs stuff)
1. Arts and crafts
2. Depressing documentaries
3. More dresses than any human needs
5. People who make me laugh
6. An endless supply of cheap wine
B. Up to no good
C. Doing some intense knitting
If the word lovers bums you out unless it's between the words meat and pizza.
