I'm a classic math/science/computer guy, and I don't care who knows it. If you ask me about my technical interests I *will* tell you, so be careful... music, photography, and writing are some of my nontechnical interests.
I read a lot, mostly divided between SF and technical nonfiction. Over the years I've accumulated a pretty hefty library, which I'm ambivalent about: on the one hand, it's awesome to have it available, but on the other hand, it's a lot of Stuff that is awkward to move and takes up space.
I'm sharp, sarcastic, and sometimes even witty. I like talking philosophy, politics, culture, life, and... well, I basically like talking.
most things analytical.
Comics: indie, mostly. Slice-of-life things of various bents, as well as the occasional manga, still. Neil Gaiman, Alan Moore, Warren Ellis, Jhonen Vasquez, Bryan Lee O'Malley, Carla Speed McNeil, Phil Foglio. Way too many webcomics...
Movies: lots of action adventure movies, most anything by Pixar. I've got to see the big special effects movies even if i know they're going to suck.
TV: I don't actually watch much broadcast/cable TV, but I catch up on the occasional show via DVD or the `net: I liked Firefly, Battlestar Galactica (TNS), and Dead Like Me. I can watch about 10 to 15 minutes, tops, of any given sitcom.
Music: anything that hasn't been played sixty million times recently. Though lately, I've been playing a lot of Bach.
Food: I like food. Mmm, food.
