My self-summary
Hi, I'm Wesley.

I'm an affable and happy go lucky guy. I can be goofy, deadpan, sarcastic, literal, or dry depending on my mood. I know when to be serious but I will try to disarm people with humor since everyone loves to laugh. Love to talk about history, politics, music, the Green Bay Packers, and cars. All at great length. Can be the guy who can hold their own in about any conversation. I tend to have an odd perspective on things and stick to my principles vehemently.

I have a number of hobbies but the one I think defines me most is a love of music. It's fun to share new music with each other and of course go to concerts or karaoke. I was an instrumentalist and a singer thru college but these days it's just karaoke and car-singing for me. I like balance so I try to vary my hobbies. Sometimes I'm into hiking, other times I'm into movie marathons.

I enjoy the simpler things. Taking time for myself, have a drink with friends, go for walks, read, get some thinking done, and don't take myself too seriously. Doesn't work for everybody but it works for me.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a business analyst. It's boring to describe but I enjoy the challenges it brings. It's my punishment for taking way too much math and majoring in finance.

Besides making sure my needs are met via selling out to corporate America, I also do volunteer work to try and help out the community a little.
I’m really good at
I'm excellent with electronics beyond the traditional sense of "I can hook up the TV." I built my own computer, fixed my turntable, and even know how to install an outlet without electrocuting myself! Not to say I haven't been electrocuted before. Ow. Wasn't always good at it.
The first things people usually notice about me
I don't see it but I get Seth Rogan comparisons all the time. It's an improvement tho since it used to always be Jack Osborne comparisons. Oh, and the fact that my beard grows in red.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm primarily a music nerd so I'll open with that! I'd have to say my favorite genres are New Wave (Talking Heads, Devo, Blondie) songwriters (Warren Zevon, David Bowie, Bob Dylan) and some wildcards (Iggy Pop, Primus, Gaslight Anthem)

Shows: MST3k, Venture Brothers, Home Movies, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Archer, China IL, (essentially most of [adult swim]) Parks and Recreation, It's Always Sunny

Fav foods have to be gyros, my own chicken wings, and sushi. I enjoy trying new foods given the opportunity. Still, can't beat a good sandwich either.
Six things I could never do without
Family, friends, the experiences I've had, the places I've been, a good pair of boots, and Diet Pepsi.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I like plotting road trips for fun. I'll putz around on google finding routes to places, research what things there are to do in each town and daydream about what my friends and I would go do. Got to love road trips!
On a typical Friday night I am
Either dancing at Mad Planet, or at home reading. Two extremes, but that's how it is.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Laverne and Shirley is the best show ever.
