My self-summary
I'm a pretty normal guy but have my quirks. I'm shy in new groups but extroverted with people I know. I like to make people laugh but I LOVE making people cry (jk). I enjoy my time spent with friends, working out, watching movies, discovering new music.

I'm looking for a relationship that combines chemistry and substance - that initial spark that grows into something enduring.

I'm open to making new friends too.

What I’m doing with my life
In a good place but my long term plan is under construction and looking to expand my life beyond the routine.
The first things people usually notice about me
long eye lashes, but the ones who notice 99.9% of the time are women, ever since I was a little kid. And they always say it with such envy.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
The Impossible Lives of Greta Wells, In the Garden of Beasts, A Mercy, East of Eden, The Life of Elizabeth I, Song of Solomon, Devil in the White City, The Wind-Up Bird Chronicles, The Passage, Gone with the Wind, The Road, The Alienist, A Light in August. Recently read Go Set A Watchman. I thought it was great. Much more complex story she was trying to tell than the classic but simplistic plot of To Kill A Mockingbird (also a favorite).

A ton! Recent likes include Mad Max, Selma, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Imitation Game, The Hobbit, Whiplash

The Walking Dead, Arrested Development, South Park, Golden Girls, Battlestar Galactica (2004), Game of Thrones, Veronica Mars, Closer/Major Crimes, Orange is the New Black, Turn, Longmire, The Fall, BBC, and PBS' The Roosevelts and Frontline.

The list of favorites is long and varied. Currently listening to Madonna's Rebel Heart, Florence and the Machine's How Big How Blue How Beautiful. I just realized that I've only bought two whole albums this year. Musically speaking, 2015 is lackluster. Any recommendations are welcome! Recent listens also include Youngblood Hawke, Lana Del Rey, Mary J. Blige's latest album (reminiscent of her early stuff), Avicii, Sam Smith, Annie Lennox's Nostalgia, The Lumineers, David Guetta, P!nk, Justin Timberlake, Tori Amos, and Mumford & Sons (not the new one...).
The six things I could never do without
Friends, exercise, coffee, water, and the potential of what may lay ahead in the future
I spend a lot of time thinking about
everything, especially anything random that requires me to look it up on wikipedia on my phone
On a typical Friday night I am
It really depends. Could be at the gym, on my couch, at a movie or something else.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a little (more than a little possibly) obsessed with pugs. I don't own one which may make that fact even weirder.
