My self-summary
I find I am constantly seeking the true nature of things. The longer I'm around, the more I understand humanity, and the less I understand myself. I am always balancing the need for answers and new experiences against an inexplicable fear of the unknown.

So, Whats 4 Lnch today?? I wonder what I could write about my life that might make it more interesting to you? I am looking for someone to share it with. Someone who also wants to understand things, cuz I sure don't. Wish I did. Is there anyone out there who wants to help?
What I’m doing with my life
Hoping to make a difference, one starfish at a time. Meanwhile, housework, yardwork, taking care of the kids (even the grown-up ones). I like to make things (computer applications, woodworking projects, wasting time on my silly time-saving inventions) . And looking.. for what, I'm not always sure.
I’m really good at
My profession, solving problems, computer stuff, building/fixing things, compassion and empathy. Also have to admit that I'm a really good procrastinator.
The first things people usually notice about me
Not sure.. probably eyes, smile, and energy. I'll go ask some people and let you know what they say.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm a sucker for a movie with a happy ending; I also enjoy movies and books that make me think - mysteries and non-fiction. I'm slowly reading Sam Harris's "The Moral Landscape" (it's interesting because it deals with absolute truth); I really like my Kindle (that thing is so cool!); Recently finished Sarah Vowell's "Wordy Shipmates", gotta get the rest of her books, I enjoy the way she writes. also I just finished "The Black Banners", which I really liked. Currently reading "Rather Outspoken", and "Imperial Life in the Emerald City". Interesting reading, but almost too much reality - stuff like this can make one angry sometimes. Just downloaded "On the Origin Of Species". Since everybody's talking about it, I should probly read it!

Food: Simple, so even I can cook it - Mediterranean and Asian style mostly. For dining-out, I still like a good steak, or Chinese or Italian. Also a Chipotle fan. I like Indian food, but there isn't any near here.
Six things I could never do without
-My house
-Contact with interesting people
-The search for true intimacy
-PC / WWW / Cell phone
-good coffee
-chain saw (there are a lot of trees here)
-cordless drill (etc)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
how to fill out online dating profiles
On a typical Friday night I am
When not working, just hanging out, or relaxing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I know where the chakras are and what they do.
You should message me if
... you're interested, or just curious, I mean, like, why else are we here? Just take a chance and say 'Hi' - This thing is totally anonymous, right, so why not?
