My self-summary
oh, yes, the essay. hmmm

Call it a new year's resolution to improve on the old love life. I've never really been all that active in that part of my life. I tend to have fun with my friends and not think too much about life "in the future".

I feel i'm a pretty laid-back, easy-going kind of guy. last minute camping trip for the weekend? sure. Ask me to get some gear for the trip and i'm probably going to spend the rest of the week researching which tent is the best for the weekend and why....

I'm an engineer. What i do specifically is usually over people's heads, so let's just say i enjoy technology. I'm constantly learning and discovering new things.

I'm not one to spend my whole life at work, so when i get off, i'm usually headed to volleyball, bowling, small group, ultimate frisbee, curling (yes, the winter sport), drawing, or half a dozen other activities.
What I’m doing with my life
Most would list their occupation, so engineer. but in the grand scheme of things, sometimes i wonder. i mean, i love being an engineer, so i've got that down, but deeper questions like "where do you see yourself in 5 years?" always make me stumble. I love my life and don't see a need to change it much, but after you hit 30, there aren't too many individual milestones left. So i'm hoping to find someone to not only see for the next 5 years, but much, much longer.
The first things people usually notice about me
in winter, i rock a pretty sweet red beard...???

I can come across as a little shy. Give me time to warm up, and i can throw out some witty remarks.... its a subtle comedy
I spend a lot of time thinking about
sad to admit, but what day of the week is it?... and what activity do i have planned tonight?
On a typical Friday night I am
either hanging with friends (restaurant, board games, etc) or a quiet evening at home.
