My self-summary
I work for a large energy company where I do other people's work and get shouted at by angry customers a lot.

I like gaming, pole dancing and being anti-social sometimes-- while I'm outgoing, I'm also a fan of my hermit time. Big fan of ASOIAF. I make very good cakes (apparently).

I love museums (the odder the exhibit, the better!) and sculpture parks where I can climb on things, and finding odd little hidden gem food places.

I live next to a cemetery and it's one of my favourite places.

I'm a little shy around people sometimes, and that extends to messaging people on here. I'm not good at taking the first step.
What I’m doing with my life
Working, playing too much Minecraft. I love to travel and have a propensity to go to America to meet people off the internet, which has been great so far-- I'm yet to be imprisoned in a basement.
I’m really good at
Baking cakes, I've been told. Also making people laugh (sometimes at my own expense).
The first things people usually notice about me
I have no volume control.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm a big fan of Waugh, Isherwood, Nabokov, Sherlock Holmes, Lovecraft, the His Dark Materials trilogy, Lucifer Box, ASOIAF. Lots of things!

I'm not a huge TV watcher but I enjoy Criminal Minds (so bad, yet so good), Orange is the New Black, Queer as Folk.
Six things I could never do without
My laptop: I know, I know, it's cliché, but it's my baby.
My family and friends.
Food: not just in a sustenance way, but I bloody love eating and making food for people.
Pole: I'm not great at it but it's honestly kind of changed my life a bit, and I love it.

Uhh... I can only think of a couple of things which maybe suggests that I'm easily pleased.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a lot of time in my own head when I'm walking around by myself, playing over fictional scenarios in a sometimes slightly neurotic way.

But really one of my favourite thoughts (and therefore debates) is what to do if there was a zombie attack. A friend and I take this very seriously to the point where other people say, "are we really discussing this?" in a pointed way.
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm not a huge drinker (it mixes badly with my meds sometimes), so the majority of time I might be in playing Minecraft with friends, or on the XBOX. Otherwise I might be watching films with friends after dinner, or... stuff.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm not on here to pick someone up for sex so if that's what you're after please save your time.
