My self-summary
I'm at the point in my life where I know what makes me happy, and for the most part it's the simple things. Maintaining my home and garden. People watching in Rittenhouse Square and 30th Street Station. A game of pool with friends on a Thursday night. Going for a long hike on a beautiful mountainside. Or perhaps just an evening out at a concert - especially of the work of Mozart. Of course, it can also be as simple as a nice walk through the neighborhood after a long day at work, followed by a dip in the hot tub and an evening spent with a good magazine or a favorite TV show. On the other hand, I find travel refreshes me. A week of camping in the Rockies - U.S. or Canadian - lifts my spirits and restores my balance with the world. Of course, Europe and the Caribbean aren't bad either. Someday I hope to hike through the Peruvian forest to Machu Picchu.

What I'm most proud of - aside from my children, of course! - is my small consulting business. I think my clients would say that they feel that I genuinely care for them and their success. They like me personally, and are loyal. It?s satisfying to receive compliments from a satisfied customer.

Overall, I think of myself a person who is bright, happy and active. I'm caring, easy going, honest and well balanced. I have several long-time friends who I care for dearly and children I am immensely proud of. I work out several times a week and do what I have to in order to stay fit. I'm youthful, not only in appearance but in attitude as well. I know something about the art of compromise; when to press a point and when to accommodate. I know how - and when - to say "I'm sorry." I know that good long term relationships are sometimes difficult, but always worth the effort.

I feel blessed, having several close friends and wonderful children. My job is satisfying to me. Life is good, although there is space in my life for a special person who can share all the good things yet to come.
