My self-summary
Possessions never meant anything to me; yeah, I'm not crazy. Well, that's not true, I've got a bed and a guitar and a dog named Bob who pisses on my floor. So what?
I've got pockets full of Kleenex and lint and holes where everything important to me just seems to fall right down my leg and onto the floor. My closest friend linoleum, linoleum supports my head, gives me something to believe. (SM>NOFX)

My name is Tom, and I'm a chronic dork.
What I’m doing with my life
Management in retail. I work more hours in four days than most people do in six.
I’m really good at
Writing
Making snap decisions
Procrastinating
Forgetting to reply to messages

I used to play a mean sax, but not actually owning one put a damper on that.
The first things people usually notice about me
Apparently I have an angry resting face. If it looks like I'm glowering at you, there's about a 95% chance it's not intentional.

Also the beard. Yes, you can touch it. No, you can't braid it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Instead of writing this big, long, and tedious list, let's just talk about it. I promise I won't judge your tastes to be crap because mine are probably just as crap.
Six things I could never do without
1. My hearing.
2. My friends.
3. My family.
4. Limbs/appendages/body parts in general. I could probably stand losing a toe, a finger would make me lose my grip on things, an arm would probably be all right until it's all that's left, and I don't have any puns for losing legs or eyes or ears because it just hurts to think about.
Everything else I could eventually cope with losing in the correct circumstances. The loss of any of those three things would irreversibly damage my happiness.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
When I get to sleep next.

Also whatever song happens to be stuck in my head.
On a typical Friday night I am
working right now. If I somehow have the night off -- gaming and drinking, the world's two best companions.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I secretly maintain contact with a penpal from the Alpha Centauri system. Well, I guess it's more of a radiowave-pal. I think she forgets about me, though, since it always takes eight and a half years to hear back from her :(.
You should message me if
I think this is where OKC expects some smarmy conditional that a given user thinks will "reel in" potential relationships. I don't care for mind games, so I'll just end with this: you probably already knew after reading two sentences. Go with your gut, or your heart, or whatever drives your instinct.
For best results, message me in the morning.
