My self-summary
I'm an outdoor gal trapped inside these days, feeling cooped up! I spent a couple years with an AmeriCorps program in Santa Rosa, which I adored but exhausted me to the bone so I mixed it up and moved to SF. Now, I work at a restaurant and plan our private events (weddings, big wig schmoozing, blah blah) which is fine but not forever.

I'm competitive, ambitious, frustratingly optimistic, and very honest with people I care about. I'll think I know better than you about mostly everything, but I'll do a fair job keeping it under my hat.

I'm not especially athletic, but get my gym on a couple times a week, and more than anything love being outside, hiking, beach time, or sitting with a coffee and a crossword watching the world go by. I'm pretty good at pretending to watch sports, though.
What I’m doing with my life
trying to keep the balance... too much work right now, too little life. just murdered the GRE & am looking at public administration programs for fall 2014. i'd like to own a B&B with a cooking school that's not-yo-gramma's-kitchen and starting the steps to figure that out.

I lived abroad for 2 years and profoundly miss traveling. I love airports. I love what happens after airports.

i'm a worrier but i laugh my way through, and can be too snarky for my own good sometimes. think sweet midwesterner with a sarcastic streak and you'll get close.
I’m really good at
not being a 9ers fan

eating cheese
The first things people usually notice about me
little height big laugh
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
sucker for 90s faves like jurassic park and independence day. i can't explain it.
The six things I could never do without
Good luck finding me without...
A NYT crossword book
A Clementine
A Tide To Go Stick (i'm crazy clumsy, but a good girl scout and always prepared)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Grad School, the big questions, where to get tapas tonight, where the other half of my socks are, and you're incorrect spelling of homophones
On a typical Friday night I am
probably not rallying after work. cue: bottle of wine and bed.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
my cat is cooler than you

and i already judged you as undateable when you started telling me about astrology
You should message me if
you have An Aspiration, are an easy conversationalist, feel confident naked (and clothed), and are playful. okcupidland is a mystical place where i allow myself to be selfish and judgmental, so I don't message unless I'm suuuper zinged. the internet is a big place, let's be picky. too harsh?
