My self-summary
Hey there, I'm Eric. I grew up in NYC and have a love/hate relationship with it. Working with adolescents definitely helps restore some of my faith.

Some interests include: running, traveling, social justice, politics, people watching, nature, being outdoors, summer weather.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm trying to find a balance. I just finished social work grad school and am taking some time to unwind a bit. In the meantime, I facilitate support groups and wait tables (balance?). I want to continue working with LGBTQ adolescents and I am also very open to wherever life might take me next. I'm training for my first ever marathon so it's been fun (and sometimes miserable) incorporating that into my routine.
I’m really good at
people watching, quoting Clueless, taking care of my plants, making babies laugh
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
One of each but we can discuss further:

Book: Zami by Audre Lorde
Movie: Before Sunrise
Show: Six Feet Under
Music: Beach House (this list would go on for weeks and changes depending on mood and season)
Food: burritos
The six things I could never do without
changing seasons (minus winter)
the beach
my plants
a new travel destination to romanticize
I spend a lot of time thinking about
"Do I really need another tattoo?"
"How do I find a job that pays me to sit and stare at strangers?"
On a typical Friday night I am
out enjoying the company of my friends? possibly. contemplating going out but actually falling asleep on my couch after a long week? also possible.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I may still tear up every time I hear a Whitney Houston song.
ain't it shocking what love can do?
You should message me if
you appreciate this video half as much as I do:
you like little spoons.
you are sincere and kind.
the word "masc" is nowhere in your profile.
