My self-summary
One of my 'mottos' is 'anything for a yuck' (as long as both people are laughing). I like to make people laugh with humor and to think with a good discussion. With all life has to offer, these pleasures are somewhat reduced with no one to share them with. I'm a hopeless but realistic romantic. I'm also a musician and would love to find a source of inspiration. It always sounds better with someone to play to.. Nice, can hold a conversation, passionate, interesting, thoughtful, smart, huggable, sensual, good kisser :), easy to talk to, nice smile.
What I’m doing with my life
Getting my ducks in a row to then march into my future while playing my guitar, going to jam sessions, taking better care of myself with exercise, (riding my bicycle) a better diet and plotting and planning the best third of my life yet to come.
I’m really good at
I'm an engineer and therefore a problem solver. I also feel I'mm able to talk to someone on an emotional and intellectual level.
The first things people usually notice about me
Wouldn't know as I'm not them, but if I spend any amount of time with someone, you may like me, you may really like me, or I might not be your cup of tea, but you'll know I was there.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like shows that either make a sincere attempt to make me laugh or I can learn something from. Guitar player for most of my life. Classic Rock & Blues. Jimi Hendrix is my dead god, Eric Clapton is my live one and Stevi Ray Vaughn is a close (very close) disciple. I also love jazz but liking it and being able to play it are two different concepts. I have no use for horror or ‘reality’ shows. I like spicy food and can eat almost anything I want, but I also respect the lives that were taken so I can survive andI read often as I have to keep my mind occupied. I pride myself on being up on current events which is both a blessing and a curse, however I'm activity trying to be more part the world than reading about it.
Six things I could never do without
My guitars. I'm currently looking for the one I can't live without.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Planning and living the last third of my life and hoping I'll be lucky enough to find the right person to share it with.
On a typical Friday night I am
Having a beer and playing my guitar or working on a project.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm not dead just yet. :) But I have nothing to hide. Ask me anything.
You should message me if
You think you'd like to get to know me.
