My self-summary
I am a work in progress and sometimes progress is slow. There are many layers to be peeled back like an onion. And similarly one or both of us will likely end up crying from it. At least I know I will. I just don't have your strength.

I try to follow the three basic tenants laid out by the great philosopher Tsung Tzu:

1. Each day leads to another. As surely as the sun will set on one day or opportunity it will surely rise again on the next.

2. Compassion is a sign of great strength. It takes great strength to carry yourself and lift up another as well. To laugh at or look down on compassion is to demonstrate vanity, one of mans greatest weaknesses.

3. B!tches be crazy
What I’m doing with my life
Running a business, which usually has me trying to come up with reasons not to put my head in an oven, Plath style. Attempting to be a good friend, family member, and overall upstanding member of society. Occasionally falling short on all three I'm sure.
I’m really good at
Art. Or at least the art of answering questions on OkCupid. Other art I'm probably not very good at. Or was that just an example of the art of lowering expectations?....
The first things people usually notice about me
I saw a girl on here that jokingly answered this with "my third arm". Seems inappropriate when I say that if they happen to be someone into arms my third arm would likely be at least the third thing they noticed about me. I possess all of the standard equpment necessary to be considered human. In many ways I may seem like I'm lower on the evolutionary chart but at least posture wise I'm a fully realized person. So for those of you who value such things, I'm here.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Good, the office, parks and rec, the fall on Netflix, breaking bad, recently started getting into the walking dead, the newsroom, sons of anarchy, also a big food network fan.

Music..pretty diverse array but I will say I prefer people who can actually play instruments. On my playlist right now...Dave Matthews band, Mumford and sons, pearl jam, john mayer, coldplay, ray Charles, van Morrison, Eric Clapton, bb king, Gavin degraw, Jonny lang, ray lamontagne, the band, Steve winwood, audioslave, the avett brothers, daft punk, gov't mule, passenger, and, at the the time that I'm writing this, tab Benoit.

Food...all kinds. I go to a lot of different restaurants, frequently consult Baltimore magazine etc to find new places and probably spend far too much money on this hobby!
The six things I could never do without
Easy. Fingers. Can you imagine trying to go through life with four fingers? Keep in mind thats four fingers total. Not sure how it breaks down though, two fingers on each hand, one on one hand and three on the other, etc. Might not affect your bowling but otherwise it would be a challenge. And is there such a thing as a four fingered fist fight? Very depressing. Those are some tiny fists.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Answers to questions about what I'm thinking about. Also, creative ways to avoid discussing what I spend my time thinking about
On a typical Friday night I am
Could be getting arrested, could be arresting someone else. Could just be a nice relaxing evening watching a movie through someones bedroom window. Could practice my breaking and entering or, as I call it, "entering". I don't break anything. Could be polishing my collection of womens shoes. Could be in my dark room developing surveillance photos. Could be shoplifting. Could be plotting. Could be casing. Could be conspiring. Could be fighting off the demons. Could be spending it with you.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I killed a man in 1972...I'm far too private to admit anything else
You should message me if
Nice try. I'm not gonna try to talk you into it. If you wanna message me then message me! If you aren't sure if you want to message me then you probably should. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Except for me. I won't be walking that. I'll be flying or at the very least driving. So if you think you're the type of person that could convince me to walk a thousand miles you should definitely go ahead and message me. I'm already curious to talk to you. Please know that I'm fully aware I look terrible in my pictures. I hate pictures of myself but they're obviously a necessary evil on here. However, I promise I look much better in person!
